Delonghi TRD42400MT Dragon4 2400W Oil Column Heater with Timer

We were Looking for something to replace our Dyson. the research indicated the oil heaters wear a little better when it comes to the electricity bill.We chose the analogue over digital to avoid tech issue with the screen like we did with our Dyson. The 24 hour dial is easy to use; it's essentially set and forget(unless you turn it off, then you will need to reset).While it doesn't warm our home it very comfortably warms a 20sqm room (lounge) and when doors are left open, creating a corridor to the bedroom,it easily takes the chill out of the air even on our coldest 7degree days (in an old building where every room has open vents to the outside)

I've been putting off buying a heater for a long time but this winter I gave in and I think this was the best $ 300 I spent this winter. It is incredible can warm a living space within 15 mins on medium setting and even after you turn it off it maintains the temperature for another 3-4 hours. The only thing I did not like about this product is the timer, not coz it doesn't work but it's clunky and may need some tinkering, the easy solution to that is simply buy a smart plug and control the heater with your phone!! Overall amazing product

Heater works great. Some initial smell/off gassing for a week or two but nothing our air purifier couldnt handle. Not sure what my next bill will be because this winter weve already become used to warmer temperatures haha. We bought a cheaper smaller delonghi for the other end of our apartment and this one is much better design/quality and with less offgassing I believe. Wish I bought another one of these instead.
