Takes a bit to get going but once it does it keeps room warm constantly, we keep it on ECO during the day and full temp from late afternoon when it gets colder outside. Our power bill only went up $40 over 2 months, for $20 extra per month and keeping it on constantly, I am very happy

Bought what I thought was the most feature rich version. Turns out I would have been better off with the manual one. The ET version doesn't let you schedule. I can't even connect it to an external timer because it doesn't turn on from the switch. Quite disappointed. Wouldn't purchase this again. Mihht even get rid of this one.

Fantastic heater! Love the Dragon 4 - more than heats the room. Very happy with the arvo feature and the fact I can set the temp for my daughters room and never have to wonder what setting 4 equates to etc. if they’re on special even better value for money. Especially when you have such a long warranty period. Over the next year I’ll be swapping out all of our old heaters for this model

My research paid off with this awesome oil heater. I've only ever had fan heaters before, but loving the gentle warmth of the oil heater. The enviro setting is a great feature where you set the temperature and it automatically cycles up to heat the room to that level when it drops down low. We use it in our lounge room which is a large area, so you need it on longer but works fine. Heats up my study very quick I need to turn it off! Great value.
This heater works very well to heat up my fairly small apartment, and I prefer the warmth that it radiates over a space heater that blows air at you, but this is a preference. I previously owned one of the more basic models of delonghi, and don't really notice the benefits of the Dragon in terms of heat, though it does look more modern. I like that I can easily set the temperature, but haven't used all of the timers and auto-settings but they are a nice feature, though I wonder if they add to energy use? I'm happy with my purchase but the basic, cheaper model also does the job for those on a budget.
These heaters are great, but I sadly cant recommend the good guys. I purchased the heater and found it was damaged when I got home. Returned and exchanged for a different heater - which was also damaged. A full refund was given and I ended up buying the same heater at another store.
I didn't know much about the oil heaters and I didn't particularly think they are effective. I find this heater to be highly effective, without having to turn up to high heat. It lets out a comfortable heat that doesn't dry the room out, is quiet (unlike a blow heater) and you can comfortably leave on all night without it overheating the room with a doona. I am really surprised and ended up purchasing a second heater to heat my second bedroom as in winter it is normally about 2-3 degrees overnight. I turn it on 16 - 17 degrees and have a comfortable sleep as it just heats the air and takes off the chill.
I bought this thinking it could heat my open plan family room area but it is not that powerful. It radiates heat upward so even sitting next to it provides little warmth in an large open area. However it is portable and works well to heat up smaller spaces like my bedroom and study.
This heater has all the controls you need to ensure your room stays the right temperature at all times. The timer functions are prefect, allowing both automatic turn off and automatic turn on. And the thermostat works perfectly to keep the room at the right temperature without making it too hot or cold. We leave this on in our toddlers room all night, at a setting of 18 degrees on the lowest power setting and it keeps the room the perfect temperature all night, allowing him to get a goodnight's sleep. We've bought 2 of the exact same models now. A bit on the pricey side, but i envisage that we will not need to buy another heater for a very long time. Great product.
This is a brilliant heater and we love, love, love it! Its by far the best heater we have ever had. Its super quiet while in use, it puts out a beautiful gentle heat, the thermostat works so well at keeping the chosen temperature just perfect, and it efficiently and gently warms our smallish medium sized lounge room. We use the timer constantly and we love the eco setting too. Plus the unit itself looks so swish, its beautifully designed. Gold stars to DeLonghi for creating this fantastic heater.
