I’d recommend a high quality company like Union which you can find in sainsburys. From my experience, store bought ground coffee is too coarse for espresso, hence people describing the espresso as muddy water but even that tastes okay in a latte!

Pros: None Cons: There is button to deliver a shot of espresso. You have to manually turn it off.The milk frother is rubbish.The machine drips when warming up and cooling down. It has developed a leak after 13 months use and water spills out onto my counter.

After doing our research and trying to find a machine less than 1200 Wattage, we thought this would tick all the boxes. Perfect size, perfect wattage (for travelling), but the coffee that terrible. It did not give the "Crema" like shown in the photo. It was like an instant coffee

It's ok for the price but a bit of a pain to use. You can't run the wand and the espresso at the same time and it is very finicky to get a good result with the espresso. Specifically you'll need a really fine grind to get a good shot or it doesn't extract well.
Great beginner coffee machine and easy to use. Definitely need a super fine ground coffee and don't run it for to long otherwise you get watery coffee. Doesn't come with milk jug but warehouse sell them for $12. Such a great we machine and doesn't take up much space on the bench either
Average beginner machine, great size for a small kitchen. I like that the drip tray is layered so you can create more depth if you are using larger cups. The machine itself is fine but the plastic is kind of flimsy and the milk frother is difficult to use but it's a good starter machine if you're getting a new machine or transitioning from a pod-machine to an espresso machine. It's not too loud but makes some noise as expected. The online shopping experience with Target was not good so I would recommend purchasing directly from Delonghi or another retailer.

Pros: Easy to use, don't take much counter space up. A greater starter machine for ground coffee. Low price for when you are on a budget, Coffee In minutes. Cons: Having to take the drip tray out for a mug of coffee.
Pros: I have owned one of these, or similar, for years. They wear out as I use them a lot, but I have been very happy with them. Cons: I only bought this one in May 2021, but already the cappuccino milk frother will not work. To make things worse, I cannot get a reply from Customer Services on the phone or online. I have typed an actual letter which I am going to post via Royal Mail. Very disappointed.

If you're right handed like most people it's a challenge. The "tamp" it came with was horrible, its a scoop with a flat bottom that bends the second you place a tiny amount of pressure on it. Since the grouphead is some weird size its impossible to find an affordable replacement. The grouphead is poorly designed, irritating and small even for a single shot. The machine cant fit a normal sized coffee cup. It takes ages to heat up. The drip tray is all plastic and an absolute pain to clean. The water capacity is pathetic. I cant imagine buying a decent bag of beans to put in this thing. If you're looking to get a coffee machine spend another hundred bucks and go for a different brand.
