Dermalogica Skin Soothing Hydrating Lotion | Clear Start

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I just have to take a moment to give a shout-out to the team over Beauty Affairs and this awesome little (perhaps not so little :)) company. EVERY time I place an order, it's always perfect. Great deals and prices, great communication, super-fast delivery, great range of GENUINE products. I can't even tell you what their customer service is like because I've never had need of it before! Favorite Dermalogica Moisturizer

I love this moisturizer! I have combination skin that tends to feel oily by the end of the day, I have adult acne due to meds so my face can feel irritated, and I hate feeling the weight of heavier moisturizers. This is perfectly suited for all of those issues! It feels so smooth and calming when I first put it on - it's really refreshing and feels great. And then it absorbs so quickly. For how liquid-y it looked and felt going on, it only takes a minute or two to absorb. I apply it then brush out my hair, and by the time that's done it's already absorbed and my face is ready for make up. And it's so lightweight; It feels lighter than some serums! Perfect for anyone with tactile issues, like me. I'd say it's 99% perfect, it would be nice if it had SPF, but I also ... MoreI love this moisturizer! Good summer oily skin moisturizer

I have oily, acne prone adult skin. I use this in the mornings all year round, and also in the evenings during the summer. It is light weight and is not occlusive at all, so it isn't going to be doing any "locking in" of the moisture (like for naturally dry skin or during the winter) but I find that it's exactly what my oily skin needs for hydration and barrier support. It also had a unique, strong smell that I could imagine is off putting for a teenager ( it's a ginger-citrus smell).

Great Product

First off, Clear Start's Clearing Defense smells so amazing. It's clean, fresh, subtle, and natural, nothing artificial smelling at all. My skin is addicted to this stuff! It's light and airy, and doesn't leave my skin greasy, heavy, or oily. The Vitamin C drastically brightens and rejuvenates my skin, while the tapioca helps eliminate leftover shine. It's the most healthy and effective mattification I've ever experienced from a skincare product.

My favorite causal lotion

I have been using this lotion for 3+ years; it is my favorite on-the-go lotion. I love the quality and quantity for the affordable price that I don't feel too guilty about using multiple times a day, such as putting it on after rinsing my face & heading to the gym. It is not as life-changing as other more expensive Dermalogica products; I saved those for my nighttime routine. But, it is definitely worth it for casual usage. I love how thin & lightweight, yet very moisturizing. The scent smells clean as well; I love it.

Perfect for blemish prone skin

I havent been away in years due to covid etc so for my first holiday back I wanted to make sure I got something proper to use on my face and neck, usually I just slap on whatever Suncream I use on my body and end up with breakouts and greasy skin and feeling awful. I can’t recommend this highly enough I love it. It gave a lovely matte on my oily skin and didn’t cause any issues with breakouts or congestion. Lovely formula and easy to apply with no white cast. Will definitely purchase again for future holidays.

User for life

I’ve used Dermalogica for about 25 years and can’t rate this product in particular highly enough. I’ve generally got good skin which is combination but every other sunscreen I’ve tried caused breakouts, feels too heavy or left a white cast. I’ve literally tried hundreds over the years chasing a higher factor and always come back to this product. Goes on beautifully no cast or pulling, sits excellently under moisturiser and makeup. It’s been like a primer before primers existed but sometimes I go in over the top. I never break out with it and it doesn’t sit in my open pores on my nose. Truly is the perfect sunscreen. This year alone I tried, Supergoop, Medik8, Shieseido, Clarins and La Roche Posay and Bondi Sands but still came back to this product.
