Devanti 68L Sensor Bin White

Fantastic product quick postage, however, is damaged with indentations upon delivery which was very disappointing. Fragile stick needs to be put on these for postage. Otherwise very happy with the product.

Love this item. It is stylish, clean and efficient.YouNo more having to touch bin to open and deposit rubbish; just a hand wave over top and voila, open sesame and drop in the waste.Have been using it for a week now, and batteries still going strong.Really am quite impressed. Chose the larger size bin at 68l, this holds a lot of waste and I can see it also saves on the amount of garbage bags I use.Extremely happy with my purchase.

I was surprised at how tall it was. I thought being so thin it would have been smaller. My mistake though. Just didn't realise the height measurement. Decided to use it for glass as we haven't a bin and are taken to the tip when full. So will mean less trips to the tip as it holds alot of bottles. Very good product. May buy a smaller one later on.

Great Purchase

No stupid metal lining that snags bin bags. Make sure you have 2xAA batteries for lid. Sensor is a bit sensitive and will put the lid up even if you're walking past. Great size and very happy with the purchase.

Not happy, it's now just a bin

For the first few days it worked well. I purchased for the 'no touch' lid. After this time the lid only opens a few inches (10cm), not fully as it did initially. I replaced my new batteries for more new batteries, and nothing changed. I sent a video to Kitchenwarehouse as requested, who sent it on to manufacturer. They can't see it's a problem. I responded that it worked fully when purchased in August and within days it didn't. It's now mid October and no response whatsoever.Just buy a bin with a insert you can wash. Not worth the reduced price as the main feature is not functioning after 4 days.

Surpassed expectations

Loving this bin. Looks stylish and really appreciate the extra capacity of 68l.But best of all, and the reason I bought this bin, is that there is no more touching anything when I have my hands full.I did have reservations thinking the lid may open any time I went past it but, as the sensor is in the lid facing upwards that is not the case. Love it.

The 'Stand-Out' Bin that works and pleases

We love the aesthetics and style of our Sensor Bin. It takes the concept of a kitchen bin to a new level. It is functional and fun, and brings a smile to our face each time we use it. It's hilarious to think it has become a centrepiece in our newly renovated kitchen - the kids and 'grown ups' are happy to pick up and dispose of their rubbish. The sensor feature lid keeps it looking 'brand new' and prevents spillages and finger marks. So glad for our purchase.

Works ‘mostly’ well, but has some small issues

It works fine, detects that you are about to place something in the bin and it opens. The only issue is the detector can be a bit finicky sometimes especially if what you are disposing of is a dark object, it takes a few tries of pushing the object at the bin for it to open sometimes. There isn’t a way to adjust sensitivity also. You can of course just press the open button but that defeats the entire purpose of an automatic bin.

moderately happy

the item works well, is light weight, so easily slides on kitchen floor, large size is great tooissue is it does not have an inner hard plastic bin shell liner, like other brands, this means if the garbage bag is holed the contents leak thru the bin frame onto the kitchen floor
