+ Sturdy enough.- Cord could be removable when you don’t need for a long time you could remove it.- If you use for dust filter gots stuck before the dust tank is even 1/4. Filter needs improving. + Air it blows out is almost clean air no dust.+ it is easy to clear to filter and empty the tank.- Last sharp turning from hose to the tank could be avoidable. It could be Either less sharp or just straight in.+ Batteries last longer than I expected. After all, for a workshop or clearing after job is ideal for long lasting tasks is time consuming. Still I can imagine it is the best choice for this price range.

Compact to fit in van. Great wet and dry. Coping with tough material. Bought a new one after using the old one for 9 years. (Still working btw) Would not want to miss it.

Bought this for quick clean up after DIY work. I have lots of Dewalt 18v tools and batteries and have always been impressed by them. THis is the first Dewalt product that has disappointed me.It will pick up sawdust but not small pieces of rubble, even on mains power it is not particularly powerful. The vacuum hose is also quite short, so you have to kneel to use on the floor. I wanted to use this with my chop saw and stand but because of the hose length I have to prop the vacuum up higher. The mains lead is also quite short. On plus side it is quite light and use on the battery is convenient. There is also no power take off facility on it like my Tian Vac that was 1/3 of the price. OVerall it's OK but could have been much better if properly designed
Compact and well built with decent suction which seems the same with either battery or mains power. A 5Ah Li ion battery lasted about half an hour fully charged, which is OK if no mains available. However it has two significant design flaws which resulted in my returning it for a refund. Firstly the hose spontaneously unthreads from the power tool connector after a couple of minutes as there is no fixing mechanism to stop it happening (see photos). Secondly the hose is impractically short which means that you can't sand a door with the extractor sitting on the floor as the hose can't reach the top quarter of the door which is no good. Lastly the top rim of the base has a deep internal lip on it which makes emptying very difficult and messy. These are design faults ... MoreCompact and well built with decent suction which seems the same with either battery or mains power. These are design faults that can be corrected but as it stands a two star award is slightly generous. Oh, and I contacted DeWalt tech support who listened, understood and said they would get back to me but hadn't a week later.
Excellent bit of kit great for carrying around, light weight including the 54v battery. Good suction and blowing, excellent for plumbers being a wet vac! Could do with a longer hose, but the one supplied tucks away nicely around the body, May look at at installing four casters to the base. Worth every penny.
Good compact and versatile machine, ideal for spot cleans. It’s certainly no Henry for suction power but as a portable wet/ dry vacuum it’s excellent with the fv batteries. Good run time with the 9ah.
Works well when connected to my Dewalt 18v Cordless Plunge Saw. Pretty useless when connected to my Dewalt 240v Compound Mitre Saw. Just not enough suction to extract the saw dust so most of it ends up flying around! Needs more power and definitely a longer hose! Useful on site where mains is tricky to access though.
Love this wet and dry vacuum. Very light and great suction; this is ideal for me as a gas engineer. The only gripe is the hose clips don't hold the hose well enough; that is a minor gripe though.
Filter blocks too easily - connected to multi-tool trimming 1/2 metre of plasterboard had to stop and clean.no problems with brick dust from drilling.Useful vac would buy again, but needs a baffle or fleece to prevent very fine dust clogging the filter too quickly. Sparks
