I picked up a bottle of this cologne when it was first launched in 2009. At the time, I was pretty new to the world of cologne, and like any collegeaged kid I thought the bottle looked really cool. The initial spraying smelled nice and I decided to make the purchase.Today, about two years later, I have a hard time wearing the stuff. Interestingly enough, Only the Brave has good longevity, usually lasting a full day with only two or three sprays at pulse points. It also has good sillage as well, as it projects nicely even in winter weather. To be perfectly honest, I feel a lot younger wearing this, and I dont mean in the good Im 35 and feel 25 way but in the bad Im 25 and feel 15 way. In that sense, I feel I also should be wearing a pair of very baggy jeans, and a popped collar on my polo shirt while wearing this fragrance as I parade around high school after bathing in entirely too much of it.I dont hate Only the Brave, I just dont much care for it anymore now that Ive sampled and owned so much cologne over the years and found things that really do stand out and that I quite enjoy. I can still wear it, and I sometimes do, but I cant help but feel there is much better out there. Even within the Diesel house, both Fuel For Life Plus Plus have places and uses in my collection. Only the Brave doesnt so much anymore.Though, I still think the bottle is cool.

I searched high a low of a perfumecologne of some sort for my younger brother who is 18 years old. The issue is, I didnt want to purchase something that was insanely intoxicating and seductive. I would prefer to smell something like that on a hot guy and not my own brother. Of course smells differ from person to person. After weeks of torturing my nose with scents I finally opted for Diesel Only the Brave. Its not a heavy scent, doesnt incite nausea. I think with all perfumes and whatnot you tend to pay more because of the brand so pricing is justified based on that, still expensive unless you get a discount. Not overpowering and lasts for quite sometime when applied. I think something like this suits a young person.

I have struggled with self image issues in the past, and have never really had a taste for fashion, or for scents. The perfect man's cologne

I buy this cologne for my teenage son, he really likes it. I also love it, it smells so good and its not strong at all. It's the perfect strength of Cologne. It's a winner! My only complaint (if you can call it that) would be that the first one I ordered for him did not come with the pouch and this recent one did. I can only assume it came from different suppliers/ shippers. So be sure to look for where it says "pouch not included" in the description. I missed it the first time. and I wasn't looking for it the second time, but I'm glad it did cuz it's cute. Many thanks, The Mom.

This Bottle is Not the True Elixir!

NOW DONT Y'ALL GET ME WRONG DIESEL FUEL FOR LIFE IS AWESOME!!But this particular bottle that I got ain't tha "real deal Holyfield"When I got it and tried it out, it did smell good, but it didn't came out as powerful as it should be.I know this because I have a nice relationship with this scent and I still have my last bottle, so this is how I know.Over time I've come to learn that not all colognes are created equal, even when they have the same name and look.So I'm disappointed in this case, not with Diesel, but whoever distributor is/was. I don't care what anyone may say this bottle is not the true elixir.
