Promised a lot on the box and looked decent quality when opened. Install was easy, just three holes in the wall, screws supplied but need to supply your own wall plugs.Poor design that, when you mount the actual fan to the wall plate, the wall plate is still clearly visible, it honestly looks like it’s been installed wrong/wrong bracket has been used. You would reasonably expect that the plastic shroud of the fan unit would cover the wall plate when you screw the two together, completely cheapens the look. Same goes for the 4 holes in the fan shroud that are where you screw the shroud to the wall plate. That not my main issue with the noise however; it’s the high speed metal-on-metal vibration rattle that occurs at all speeds. We’ve narrowed it down to where the two halves of the cage meet. Squeezing the cage together firmly will stop/minimise it, but why should we have to find a solution for it, surely this would be picked up in QC? I can’t imagine taking this back and picking up another unit would be any different, this is a design flaw, not a flaw with this unit itself. I’m thinking of taking out all the screws and removing the front cage to line the join with a thin strip of foam or something similar because the vibration noise is going to send me around the bend.Can’t recommend this product unfortunately for these reasons.
