Dior Diorshow Pump N Volume Mascara Waterproof 090 Black

I don't normally wear much mascara, because it seems impossible to find one that doesn't smudge and I go for an eyelash lift instead. Despite that, I still use it from time to time especially if it's a gift. 💦 The gift that I got from a friend recently is the Diorshow Pump 'n' Volume Waterproof mascara. I like that it's volumising and doesn't get clunky. In terms of the waterproof part, I'm still yet to determine. It seems to be work on some days but not others. 🖤

Glossy and pretty close to not having a sinle clup. Very natural looking. My eyelashes are pretty colorless without some sort of tint. The only draw back is at the same price as all the other Dior mascaras, but it has slightly more than half the product. 0.18 g as opposed to 0.33 grams the others have.

This is a very dark, wet mascara. It recommends applying in a wiggling motion, but I found that made my lashes clump together. I got the best results by sweeping upward without wiggling the brush. The result is the longest, darkest lashes I've ever seen. Very little smudging or flaking (I only saw a bit of those when I wore it through a sweaty workout, or rubbed my eyes.) My only critique is that I wish the brush was more like the the original DiorShow. The brush on this tends to stick my small lashes together instead of defining each individual lash. That's the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars, and from looking like I'm wearing a full set of falsies. I'm anxiously awaiting a waterproof version of this. LET'S GO, DIOR!

Clumpy, thick -- I miss the Diorshow Iconic

I can't believe this mascara is from the same brand that makes my all-time favorite mascara (Diorshow Iconic Waterproof which is now discontinued, sadly).This brush is big and makes it hard to get the shorter hairs in the corner of the eyes. The formula is incredibly thick and clumpy, and despite being waterproof, it WILL smudge if you live somewhere humid or have oily skin.I will never purchase this again; time to find a better replacement

Dries out SOOOO fast

Amazing for the first month and a half. It made my lashes plump, but not clumpy, and greatly enhanced the length. But after almost 2 months, which is about the time a mascara should expire, it dried up A LOT. I shouldn't be too surprised with this since it's time was almost up, but I hadn't used it that much, only when I'm going to the beach or pool. It worked great when I was down the shore for the weekend, so I was using it daily, but just a few days ago, I opened it and there was barely any mascara on the tube, and the bristles were being held down by dried mascara. I was so confused because just a day earlier, it was working perfectly. I keep my makeup stored very neatly and treat it how it should be, so nothing really could have caused this to happen besides ... MoreAmazing for the first month and a half. Finally found my mascara

The best mascara (combined with the primer) that has ever gotten my eyelashes to stay curled. I tried all Dior mascaras (including the discontinued iconic), Chanel waterproof, Clinique waterproof, Benefit waterproof, and Thrive. This is the only one that gives my lashes an all-day hold, even with a mask. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Give it a try!

Just Beautiful

I have stick straight eyelashes. I always use a very black waterproof mascara. I used to use the dior blackout mascara. This is the best one ever. I stick it in my bra on my way to work to warm it up because waterproof mascara is always a bit tacky. I curl my lashes with the Japonesque curler for almond eyes and put on the Dior mascara and voila. Very black pigment really brings out my eyes and beautiful lash transformation love it!!!!

Diorshow has been my favorite mascara for years. I bought this only because it was purple, and I wanted another color of mascara. I had little hopes it could beat my old time favorite. I was so wrong! I love, love this mascara! It gives me great volume, length, and doesn't clump. It doesn't smear, but is easily taken off. The only thing I would change with this mascara is the actual color, and this is just subjective to my taste, of course. I would make it a brighter purple. I think this mascara is every bit as good as DiorShow! I hope they continue to come out with some more colors other than black and brown. Best purchase I've made in a good while.

Tube dried out too quickly. Disappointed

I bought this mascara as I needed something waterproof to last through snowfall. It worked okay but it wasn’t anything amazing. The formula felt half dried out right from when I first opened the tube, and became completely dried out within about a month and a half. I ended up replacing this mascara with a drug store waterproof mascara that cost half the price and works much better.The brush is nice and created nice shape when the mascara was less dried out, but that’s the only redeeming quality I can name. I wouldn’t recommend this mascara.

thick, fluttery eyelashes!

This mascara makes my eyelashes look absolutely incredible – both thicker and longer! I used to use the buxom mascara religiously (but realized it was causing my eyes to burn), and once I found this one I've continuously gone back to it. I have read all of the reviews saying it's clumpy, which it is when you first start using the tube but you have to scrape some off till eventually the wand doesn't keep catching so much product. I get it – annoying, especially for the price point, but no other mascara with a similar want compares to the quality of this one IMO. I don't wear a lot of makeup and do live in a humid climate with oily skin and I don't experience smudging with regular wear. 4 stars because the tube does dry out in a little less than a few months.
