Dove Care & Protect Antibacterial Beauty Bar 3 Bars 3.17 oz (90 g) Each

I just bought it because it was the only fragance left on the store which I usually buy at. It's a blue bar of soap and has micro-particles for exfoliating your skin. I don't really like its fragance (it smells like lemon or aloe vera), it's very fresh but it has a very artificial and chemical odor which I find unpleasant. Also, in my experience, it melts faster than the original white bar of soap, but its texture when I lather it onto my skin is weird, it's not as creamy as the original Dove. Our entire family uses Dove products and have loved everything we’ve ever tried or used. We all have a bit of sensitive skin, especially our two children so Dove is the only soap we use! The antibacterial bar has easily become a favorite in our house for showers and bath time! It has a very light, clean smell and it lathers wonderfully (like all Dove beauty bars). Our 5 year old son especially loves the blue color ☺️! We will continue to use Dove and ONLY Dove on ourselves and our kiddos for all their bathing needs! My parents and grandparents love Dove just as much and it’s what I have grown up on using! My husband refuses to use anything else to wash his body! We LOVE Dove! ❤️

Caused Me to Lose My Faith in Humanity...

To be clear, this bar's ability to moisturize more than met my expectations. The problem? The scent hit me like a wall and I wasn't wearing a helmet. I would describe it as a very strong sandalwood/floral blend. It also smells more like a product for men than women or unisex. If this had a fairly mild neutral scent like the pink bar or winter care, I would have been perfectly satisfied. I would have been happy with virtually any of their other scents that are marketed toward women. They are usually pretty good. This bar has a strong stench which blew me away. Never before have I imagined having to downgrade my rating for such a stellar product purely because of the scent. Again, I am not a picky person in this respect. There is WAY too much fragrance and it is such a pointed and opinionated scent that I wondered why they took this risk. The dreaded scent clung to my skin after my shower and lingered as soap scents so rarely do to me. I know it's not just me. My blind cat found the empty box on the floor and kept sniffing it and then trying to bury it in the carpet to my amusement. Dislike of the scent may prevent people from repurchasing and that may also mask the interest of the public in a Dove bar with an antibacterial quality. I know that I was so ready to love this bar and am now just crushed. I wanted to recommend this but friends don't let friends... Please put out an antibacterial bar in a neutral or maybe a peachy scent. Please.

Excellent!

This is my favorite bar soap. I have been using this since the start of the pandemic because of the antibacterial ingredient. Dove has good quality products for a fair price. I love the scent and my skin feels so soft. The antibacterial is also a great benefit to keep germs away. I have dry aging skin and believe it's gentle enough for sensitive skin.

I got to give Dove props!! I've been using this soap for over 2 months and this stuff works. I've been waiting for Dove to make an antibacterial soap and finally they have this stuff keeps me fresh keeps my odor away and this is coming from a man. this is to all you ladies if you have an odor problem this is good stuff. I literally don't have to put on deodorant certain days because of this soap. The only downside is that they don't have any other fragrances. I'm not a big fan of the men's antibacterial line due to that I'm allergic to a lot of the musk smells. Please dove make more fresh fragrances. On one last note please do not discontinue I use this everyday.

Packaged really well! As soon as you open the box the scent hits you straight away! Smells so fresh and lovely!The use is just like any other soap, decent sized not too small or big and the quality is great but considering dove it’s no surprise!I have gentle & sensitive skin but works really well, make sure to add lotion after you shower/bath because this soap can leave a feeling of leaving your skin dry!

Good antibacterial soap bar!

My partner (no sensitive skin) prefers to use soap bar so I got this one for him. Cleanse the body properly without irritation. Since it is antibacterial (contains Benzalkonium Chloride 0.13%) he likes to use it after work out or during hot humid summer days. The fragrance is very soft and clean. Size too small

Wonderful soapBut,,The bar is too smallConsumers understand prices go up sometime.But to keep making your ball smaller is not helpful.Please bring back the original size!Your bar is smaller than most bar soaps.And that is very much inconvenient and is a Marketing ploy. Consumers are not stupid especially women. Keep it at the original size and raise the price a little bit.

Wonderful Dove Bar Soap!!

Recently bought Dove Clean & Protect Antibacterial bar soap, and I love it! Smells sooo good, and has such a nice silky feel to it. Lathers up very well, and leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean. Great for hand washing or showers. Love that it's antibacterial. Bought 6 more bars today to stay well stocked, as it is my new favorite. Fantastic find and I won't be without it! 5 Stars!!!
