I was pleasantly surprised at how effective Dr LeWinn's daily cleansing balm is at removing make up. This cleansing balm does wonders to melt your makeup right off, I was genuinely so impressed at how easily it was able to break down my makeup (especially my waterproof mascara)! It also didn't cause a great deal of cloudiness in my eyes after use, which is a huge bonus.However, this did give me the worst breakouts. My skin absolutely hated it. I only used it three times and each time the next day I had so much acne pop up and it took forever to get rid of them. If you have dry skin but clear skin, this would be amazing for you. But if you get acne at all I would absolutely avoid this. It does a fantastic job at removing make up, but unfortunately it's just not worth spending the next week having to fight off break outs.

I have tried this cleansing balm for around 2 weeks and it does an amazing job of removing base makeup and sunscreen. It didn't quite remove all of my waterproof mascara. Normally i dont use a cleansing balm every night only when i wear makeup. I usually double cleanse with a water based cleanser. This cleanser changed my mind it was very enjoyable to use nightly. The texture was thick when scooped out of the container but once it was massaged into the skin it just melts away like an oil cleanser. It has a light floral scent and is very easy to apply and wash off with warm water. It does not strip my skin of its moisture, my skin feels very hydrated and clean. I would definitely recommend this cleansing balm to those who like the skin feeling hydrated.
This is my new favourite cleansing balm. I love how it's pink and comes with a little spatula. The balm is slightly grainy but isn't scratchy on the skin and is gentle on the eye area still. It melts down and removes make-up extremely well and gets rid of it all. What I really love about this balm is that it doesn't have a fragrance and doesn't leave a film on my skin. It's very easy to rinse off and doesn't leave my skin oily. It leaves my skin really clean and soft. I love that it contains Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Squalane which leave my skin balanced and hydrated. I 100% recommend this cleansing balm to everyone even those with sensitive skin. Definitely purchasing again and again. It's awesome!

My initial thoughts when applying this Dr Lewinn’s product is quite thick and oily. Once emulsified with water the product is slightly less oily. Upon removal you must scrub quite a bit to remove the oily residue left on your skin. It does leave your skin feeling quite supple and hydrated. In my opinion, the negatives outweigh the positives. I would not pay to purchase this product.
