This is our classic 3 eye shoe. The second style that dr. Martens made, the unisex shoe was crafted for industry and made rebellious by generations of non-conformists. The 1461 is crafted with the same doc's dna as its 8-eye counterpart grooved edges, yellow stitching and smooth leather, a lightly textured, highly durable material with a soft sheen. It's built on our iconic, comfortable air-cushioned sole, that's oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance. Best of all, the sole is secured using one of the finest construction methods available the goodyear welt. Material airwairs original signature leather a firm, finished leather with a smooth, semi bright appearance. Care instructions smooth clean away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply correct coloured wax based shoe polish to restore shine as desired. Construction this is a goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
