I have so many products from Dyson from hair styling tools to home products. I was excited about trying this styling cream with my airwap. My first impression is that I really like the refillable bottle. I do appreciate brands creating more sustainable packaging. I also like how chic the bottle looks on my vanity and is aligned with Dyson aesthetics. However, what I found is that even though I used a moderate amount in my freshly washed hair, it felt like this product weighed my hair down. That made it really hard to style it once it was dried. Like but not a Love

My hair is bra strap length- 3A/B Curls- Fine- High Porosity for reference Pros: - Absolutely beautiful packaging! Magnetic cap is a great touch and the overall look is so sleek. -Smells great! Delicate scent but very clean and luxurious. -Moisturizing, great slip. -Curls dried quickly, with a lot of volume. Cons: -Had to use quite a lot of product to saturate my hair, especially as it’s supposed to be a 1 step product. -Would be stronger layered with a gel. -Curls didn’t form chunky clumps like I usually prefer. Over all I did like this product but I think it would be better suited for wavy hair, low porosity hair or hair that has better moisture balance before products.

Love this hair cream

Leave it to dyson to come out with a really great hair product and awesome bottle design. First, they designed a really chic reusable shell. Then the pump mechanism is really interesting. No squeezing of a bottle required! While the dispenser is really cool, it is hard to get the product that is stuck to the dome.Now onto the product. I think they have created a really great pre-styling cream. I tested this and air dried my hair and found that it gave my waves a decent hold. I haven't had a chance to test it with my airwrap but i expect great results! The texture and consistency are also really nice to use and it leaves my hair soft.

Mixed Feelings.

I wanted to love the new Dyson Chitosan. I love the concept of having one product to hold body and curl. Packaging is innovative, just like their hair tools. Smell was pleasant, formula was easy to use. The primary reason for the three-star review is Chitosan dries my hair out. My hair is like rope; super thick, healthy, people pay good money for hair as thick and strong as this. I trim regularly, generally air-dry and rarely feel dry ends. After the first use, I noticed the dryness. I checked the ingredients and found two alcohols + dimethicone (something I actively avoid in sunscreens). My second concern with Chitosan: it didn’t make any difference with the outcome of my hair style. Every wave still slipped out. Unfortunately, this is a miss for me.

I used the straight to wavy hair, light conditioning. I dried my hair with a Dyson dryer and a round brush.Pros:-Smells great. Has a pleasant honeysuckle and a bit of coconut scent-Adds volume. Great for thin/fine hair. If you have thick hair it might be too much-Bottle design is nice, I like how the cap snaps closeCons:-Hair takes 50% longer to dry. I used to be able to try my hair in 6-7 minutes and now it’s closer to 10 minutes. Maybe it’s the heat protectant that traps the moisture and makes it longer to dry. Not ideal if you’re in a hurry-Hair feels a bit thicker after styling. No more silky smooth feeling if you have fine hair. It also feels like it’s covered with waxy texture. THE hair cream for folks who dislike hair cream

As someone with flat, fine, straight hair, I confess that I have always felt limited in my ability to style my hair. Curls typically didn't hold well and I am very prone to damage.However, since adding this cream in, I am truly shocked by how well it works. This might be the cream for people who think they don't like hair creams. It doesn't weigh my strands down (which is SHOCKING in and of itself), and yet it does extend my styles oh so well. I actually had a moment where I thought my hair spray was suddenly working so much better than it had before...and then remembered, oh yeah. I added this Dyson cream.I am absolutely blown away, no pun intended. Gifted by Dyson in exchange for my honest thoughts.

There is no better way to fix your curls

If you like to curl your hair, then this cream is specially designed for you. For application you need 2-4 pums for long and thick hair, if you have short hair you will need less. Press the dispenser and take the required amount of cream and distribute it over the entire length of the hair without touching the roots of the scalp. Then take a styler and create curls that will last all day and not fall apart. Another big plus of this cream is that the hair shines, does not stick together, does not become heavier, and is very soft and manageable. The styling comes in a beautiful oval tube, dark purple in color with a peach-colored dispenser. It is very convenient to hold in your hand due to the fact that the tube itself is made of thin, dense plastic. I'm very picky. I have fine, thin, flat hair and frankly didn't even like creams (instead opting for mists). But this cream actually does not weigh down my strands. It claims to extend style, and it VERY much delivers there.
