Firstly we have had robot cleaners for years.This 1 star review is not for the store, they were amazing and as friendly as you could ask for.This review is for the product which has only one place and that is on the inventors test bench.It is absolutely not ready for market, especially not at this price!The issues?1. The only outcome of this it gets jammed much more often and it seems to drive drunk going side to side to properly see where it's going because it has blind spots given its missing the 360 sensor now.6. The suction power is more?From our experience it's the same if not worse that a previous cleaner that was apparently a third of the suction power.Simply put, do not buy this product.Ecovacs support has-been contacted to try and resolve this but they seem to be design faults so not easy to fix.

This product actually doesn't work as the same as official's description. The square design let the robot hit randomly aside of the corner and hardly clean into it. Also the robot is easily blocked by the complicated environment like chair legs, cables, etc and it's still in trouble dealling with hair/animal hair. Last point is the auto navigation is a disaster and it's impossible to integrate some rooms on the map.Only improved feature is the wet wipe. It does clean some dirty liquid on the floor.

My review is for the X1 which is not listed so putting under x2. Bought January this year (2023) and has just been sent for the second time for repair. Driving wheel died and WiFi signal frequently lost. Came back with those fixed but with wonderful new issues - camera doesn't work (Ecovacs have suggested the camera is covered....), takes 10-15 mins to dock after quite a few attempts and the anti drop sensor often won't allow it to leave the dock. First time it was away for 5 weeks. JB won't replace or refund as Ecovacs want to assess for repair so off it goes again. I have reached out to ecovacs via email however the emails are unhelpful (please re-set, check wifi, clean the sensors). I have tested the robot for 4 days now. Compared to Dreame 10L Ultra: At first sight I was really disappointed. Navigation was bad, it was loud and slow. But the cleaning result is much better than with the dreame. The station is really self-cleaning with the hot water and it does not like dreame distribute the dust/dirt. Navigation improved, I think thanks to AI and it always managed to clean the whole surface and to return to the station. The cleaning result and maintenance effort matters and I am quite happy with it. It's the first robot with the potential to completely replace manual wet wiping. I don't see a difference. We have kids and a dog (worst case scenario).
