I rolled my ankle and heard a crunch. Bought it after my X-ray & ultrasound, & it provides great support! I only have a sprain, thank God, but will be wearing this for another week. Excellent product!
This DOES WORK !! Unlike the Ankle Support by Elastoplast which is useless and wont fit anyone with decent sized ankles. This is much better, and still cheaper than similar ones that Work. I use to prevent "rolling in" rather than my ankle being sore already.
I bought this brace 2 days ago after twisting my ankle badly. It enables me to hobble around using a walking frame, while supporting my foot in such a way that it is firm and stabilised. It is simple to fit and adjust and is a great price!
Keeps the ankle very stable and nearly equivalent to another lace-up ankle support that I have. Drawback would be that it digs into my achiles somewhat, so I tend to wear this with a relatively thick sock underneath to prevent that rubbing. With even a thin sock, it rubs through, so I couldn't give 5 stars on that basis.
Use for cricket with my soft ankles i use for every training session & match day,gives great confidence to run & move sideways with solid support. Recommend placing on outside of sock for maximum support & feel.
Exactly the support I needed. Wear 4 or 5 times a week with sicks and shoes.
Bought a few years ago for the first time when my daughter ankle started hurting whilst playing Netball, but then the other ankle started to aswell and couldn't find another the same so used 2 different types of ankle support.. she ended up swapping them around each time because which ever ankle didn't have this one on would be still in pain after playing.. finally got her a second one and now I make sure I order 2 each time in advance as she won't wear any others to play and umpire her Netball games. 3yrs now and just Bought 4 set as they do wear at the feet overtime.
