Electro-Voice Evolve 50 Portable Powered Column System (Black) by Sounds Easy
The EVOLVE 50 Portable Column System is a three component loudspeaker system powered by a 1000 W Class-D amplifier and driven by Electro-Voice's QuickSmartDSP. The system consists of a 15 mm wooden, ported, powered subwoofer enclosure that houses a 12” subwoofer capable of a functional frequency output down to 37 Hz. The bi-directional aluminum pole’s connection to the subwoofer is secured using a magnet, and the column array is gravity-held to the sub pole. The signal is internally routed to the components. Eight 3.5" neodymium drivers in the column array coupled with the 12" subwoofer delivers up to 127 dB SPL. The eight composite waveguides control high frequencies with 120° of horizontal coverage, and 40° of asymmetrical (down-facing) vertical coverage to ensure suitable output for sitting and standing audiences. The sub pole and column array come prepackaged in a carrying bag. The processing engine allows for easy setup via four presets (Music, Live, Speech, and Club), three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets (Store and Recall settings), output delay, phantom power (+15V), visual monitoring of limiter status, input level control and meters, and master volume control to ensure optimal gain structure. The new Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile application utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) technology for the wireless configuration, control, and monitoring of up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. High resolution Bluetooth audio streaming adds convenience for wireless music playback in breakout rooms, intermission, and musical accompaniment.

So amazed by the range and depth of the sound from this set up. At the time of purchase I was only able to get one. I wasn't sure if it could do the job of outdoor entertainment. Wow...is the best way to describe it. Not only was the music heard from all areas of the park, even the bass could be felt. "Awesome Speaker"

Great compact design, nice sound, lots of input options including Bluetooth, unfortunately doesn't bring enough oompf to a dance floor for me to use. Really high highs, harder to dial a mic in with it. Doable, but not for the price.
We began using this speaker when our church services started being held outdoors due to social distancing. The sound is extremely crisp and the easy set make it a new brainer. Very easy to use and portable. Would highly recommend for all.
Been using ELX112p for pubs and clubs for 8 years, still working great but fancied an upgrade. What an upgrade these are.Sound quality is excellent and power is excellent I'm hearing stuff I have never heard before. Simple set up and a great compact size.I use 2 and where the elx struggled before the evolve conquers. As a solo artist on my circuit I can match the sound quality and level of most bands. Can't praise enough.

I utilize several pedals, running into an RC300 loop station. I explained my setup to Rene, and he asked me to come in and he would show me some options. I had recently visited (the other music store) and was totally frustrated with their lack of even acting like they cared customer service. Anyway, I arrived at the store and Rene was busy with another customer, but soon came over and we discussed several things including Bose vs. Evolve, since I was considering a line array system. Use it to give garden parties / home parties, and DJ some parties till around 200 people.Never have the volume full on.Wow, what a sound from this "small" Speaker.Super crispy, and a good Low, and always in balance with each other.Transport, and setup is really easy.Wish i have ordered it much sooner.
