The base has many screw holes, so it attaches very firmly to the wall. The entire contraption uses toggle bolts, so there may not be enough vertical support. I used drywall screws I purchased separately in order to create this support. The monitor stand is very stable, but the keyboard stand is very flimsy. Cannot support hand weight without torquing significantly. I suspect this part would have to be replaced over time.This was a special order item, so I cannot return it. I very much regret making this purchase.
