Essentials White Sugar 1kg

Perfectly good cheaper alternative. I don’t use a lot of white refined sugar until it comes to some types of sauce making and preserving. I couldn’t see the point of paying more, so I tried this (Australian made) product in this year’s batch of tomato relish, as the recipe calls for 1kg. It worked perfectly well, no problems. You can’t miss this product in the aisle; and the paper bag it comes in is easy to open and recyclable. I couldn’t fault the product as used, and would buy it again, if and when required for certain recipes.

Sugar at great price. Plus being Bonsucro certified. Would buy again. Didn’t know what Bonsucro certified meant so for those in the same boat as me:Bonsucro offers a credible, metric certification process to demonstrate commitment to environmental and social sustainability in sugarcane.

Pantry staple. I buy this sugar all the time. It's found in the baking aisle of Woolies. Easy to locate in my store amongst all the other sugars. I have found no difference between this brand and any other that I have used. It's in a blue wrapper which is easy to open and I pour straight from this wrapper to my sugar container. I use sugar in my baking and find that this sugar dissolves just like any other and tastes just like any other. For less than the brand names this is always a staple in my pantry.

Why pay more? This sugar is sugar. You cannot go wrong with it so may as well buy the cheaper option. I sprinkle on strawberries when they aren't quite sweet enough, use in baking, occasionally add to a hot drink. I have even sprinkled on buttered toast which was delicious!

Great buy for baking. We don't generally use white sugar in my house, preferring to add raw sugar to hot drinks. However, when my baking requires it as an ingredient this is my go-to choice. The grains are a great size for baking, nice and small and easy to mix through. I like the paper packaging, it's easy to recycle and also easy to roll up and reseal if you're not decanting the product into another container. The price is considerably cheaper than some of the branded options and the end result (when baking) is just as good. Why pay more?!

A little sugar goes a long way. Woolworths essentials 1kg white sugar is a product of Australia. Great taste Great buy!!!Can also purchase this sugar in a bigger size. It's packaged in a easy to open paper bag. The sugar is cheap and a great pantry essential which has many uses. White with one thanks. ☕I always purchase woolworths essential sugar for coffee and especially for all my baking needs. At that sweet price I'll always be purchasing this sugar as a everyday staple in my pantry.

Great value for money. I don't buy sugar in general for everyday use but have purchased this to use in a recipe @franny18-(Lemon & Lavender Sugar Body Scrub) below is a pic:-I've this in a glass jug as its easy to pour out & apply all over body before washing off in shower, by using this sugar I get to use up my bunch sample's of olive oil which is a great idea for this, the sugar tastes great overall & is 100% cane sugar, it's priced at $1. 50 which is great value for money, it's nicely wrapped & packaged, it's 1kg (estimate), once open easy to spoon out or pour into jar.

Easy to open, and recyclable, the packaging does the job. No frills, but it doesn’t need to have any. I usually have a variety of sugars ‘on the go’ for various uses (white, brown, caster, raw etc) and in particular I use white sugar in baking. Not that often as I try to go sugar free for everyday lunchbox items but this is a sugar that is an absolute staple in my pantry. Great price and product. Pantry staple. Why pay more for sugar when this does the job well. Can’t tell the difference between this and higher priced brands. Especially when poured into a glass container in the pantry. Nothing I don’t like about this. Always buy it.

Great product. Good quality sugar which we use for variety of purposes, mainly baking. Always purchase this product over named brands as there is no difference in quality. only feedback for improvement is the packaging, looks very bland and non appealing. This can potentially be modernised.
