I was always using cheap hammers for professional work and they just didnt feel right until I purchased my estwings hammer. They feel good when using for nailing, chiseling etc. Best investment for a good quality and long lasting hammer that wont brake

Yup decent quality hammer. You cant go wrong with this hammer. Great for any job. Tuff az. Last for years if you look after your tools. Highly recommend spending your money on good hammer like this one. Cheap ones are unbalanced and dont feel as good in your hand. The grip is also much better.
I bought this during quarantine and it arrived in good time. Hammer has excellent weight and balance.Can ring a bit when hammering nails but that is only a minor complaint
I've been using this hammer for a few years now.I find is to be a comfortable hammer to use, the handle is well cushioned which helps to reduce vibrations when hammering.I find the the shaft on this hammer is a bit longer than other hammers, which gives you a bit more leverage when driving or pulling out nails.It's a bit more expensive that others, but its a great tool and will last a lifetime.

I have had a number of these over the years, they are reliable, good quality with a number of useable surface to use as a hammer including the top and sides and not just the usual strike face. The steel is top quality and can be cleaned to look like new. I use some wd40(other lubricants available- lol) and a bit of sand paper. The only downside is they are proper magpie objects hence me having to get another one after the other was nicked after nearly 20 years of faithful service! If your gone buy one hammer get this 20 oz one?
I been using my Estwing claw hammer for forty years. The original with leather handly I still have but the down side was the black & while plastic handle rings that were of no purpose other than cosmetic, these split & fell out. Replaced with the blue vinyl handle not long after and been in use professionally ever since. Best hammer I ever used and probably put in a million nails over the years, it will outlast me for sure.
This is the 3rd Estwing hammer I have bought in 45 years. It's a great all round hammer. There is no better maker than Estwing.
