Purchased the doorbell chime with other eufy products - cameras, homebase, doorbell. Everything worked fine for a year and then after a power outage the doorbell chime stopped working. It was just out of warranty so I bought another and it still doesn’t work. A waste of money!

Easy to install and set up. App easy to follow also. The battery life seems quite good and the quality of the video image is good. When answering a door bell ring the system seems laggy, by the time you can speak through the mail man typically leaves. I think the intercom function needs improving and a 2K image would be nice.

The eufy products are good. We have the two camera system at home and it really works well. We bought this door bell for my elderly mother’s unit. It was easy to install and the quality is good. We could also set it up as a separate property and link to our account so we can see my mom’s system too including live view and any events. I can set it up and control the settings from my phone. The reason I only gave it three stars is that the detection is not very good or I have been unsuccessful in setting it up correctly. I set the area to pick up up to and including her driveway and initially for “motion”, but that was picking up vehicles going by. But on occasion will miss a person who has come in the detection zone but manages to pick up a cat that has a nightly stroll on our property. It also sometimes gets set off by a moth. But it integrates well with Alexa which is great. The one camera battery we had seemed to not retain it’s charge (just out of warranty). My sister then bought me a eufy solar charger. This was really easy to set up and has been fantastic at holding its charge. So I’m very happy with this addition. I hope this review helps you and if I’m doing something wrong with my moms set up Eufy support can help me.

The product is good and functional. Works quite well. However, I found a bit of a delay in playing the video. This could be a bit quicker. The mounting screws came with the package are the worst in the world. I ended up buying same size screw from a hardware shop as the given screw failed to work.
I researched quite a few of the available video doorbells before buying. We needed something that was wireless and had an inside bell so you could hear it when you didn't have your phone on you. The Eufy had all that and got good reviews so we went with this one. So far it's been exactly what it said it would be. The video is clear and the audio is good. No ongoing cloud storage fees as it stores files on the SD card that's on the unit inside your home so safe from tampering and theft. It's pretty responsive with notifications to your phone and the geofencing means it's not monitoring your every interaction and movement when you're home. Multiple people can have access to the unit. It's only been a week or so but so far so good and happy with the product.
Easy to install. Camera has good resolution and sound even in dark conditions. It's inbuilt AI learns to ignore false detections. App works well and you get notified when you aren't home and can use the speaker to talk to person at the door or broadcast predefined responses.

This product does not need a home base if you have no other cameras or eufy devices but it you do the powered hub with antennas acts as a repeater to the home base. The door bell itself is sturdy and battery operated, it needs the powered repeater to hook on to your wifi and the app on your phone to notify you of anyone at the door. Simple to install with included screws, template and wedge if required. The door bell has a security pin to prevent removal at the bottom of the bracket much like a sim removal pin. It has a slot on the repeater for an SD card to record images and the doorbell sound is loud enough. There is a delay in the live stream but it’s manageable. Great product. Does everything it says it will. Really easy to install and setup. Great video quality and easy to review and see all people in its sites. Very clear and easy to receive pictures on your phone.
Have been using this for 2 weeks and everything works. Took a couple of try to connect Homebase to the router but once connected it was fine. Signal strength to doorbell is very good with about 8m straight line distance between the two. Recording to SD card works well.Only thing I have not worked out and cannot be bothered is the automation features and scheduling. Some mode disables the chime and recording. Too much trouble to figure out what mode to use at what time. Just left it all running all the time.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and thisDoorbell works better than I anticipated.Reading all the positive reviews I thoughts I’d give it a go, so glad I did!I don’t really need motions notifications as I have security cameras however I use it for doorbell features especially when we aren’t home, great to direct delivery drivers!Some review mentioned battery life drains but mine is fully charged! Set up was super easy also!’
