Great produce for the price, however first setup was worrying as camera viewing showed pink. Researched review and logged call. A wee movement sorted it out for now. The 2k doorbell camera not that good compared to the 2k Pro, not sure if it was related to the pink situation or not. However a bit dark, changed settings etc as instructed. Will monitor to ensure it does not pivot back to pink and research further about pink, slight darkness is related. Else the sound /mic is good.

There is a bit of a lag before recording begins and between real time Image through the day is awesome. Night images are not the greatest. Doorbell is great for safety - I have notice it has deterred people entering my property of a night time = awesome safety - less risk having to open the door to see who is on the other side.. great add to our home security system.

I bought a Eufy smart lock then decided to install a video doorbell. It was really easy to install and all I needed was my drill. The 15 degree wedge was useful. Motion detection is pretty effective with a slight lag but not too bad. It is only within a few m of the camera so I'm looking at getting a separate camera to cover the driveway. The video clarity is good and it motion detection wasnt false alarming to animals. The app is really good to use and I like that I can tap into it when I'm at work.
I find this to be a very handy addition to my security setup as I can see who is at the door. It will notify me on my smart phone and also be able to communicate this who is there even if I'm not there. It will record the action also so you can review later. I have also added a camera out of view for a different angle for knowing who is approaching from the street. You will need a home base for this to work and I find it worth it to have as it will give you some peace of mind.

Eufy products are super easy to use. The add on doorbell works really well. Was really easy to install on brick, and the additional part that allows you to install the put the bell on a slight angle is a great idea. It connected to my existing home base with no problem. The doorbell chine from the home base is clear and loud. I dont need to have it on full volume. Really happy with it
Already have Eufy home security cameras and homebase 2 Did a bit of research before purchasing this doorbell specifically. Main reason for settling on this one is the local storage (to my homebase 2) this is also the sole reasons why its more expensive. The other reason is because I already have Eufy home security cameras. With no monthly/annual subscription costs for 'cloud' storage, this has effectively paid for itself. Comes with easy instructions and everything you need to install. Eufy app is extremely easy to use with simple set up instructions. There is a very slight time delay when using the motion detection but this is no different to any other motion detection door bell camera on the market. Perfect addition to my home security
