I like using a protein supplement, as I overeat carbs. My favorite is Nature's Bounty for Women (pink container--whey --not plant protein). I tried this one for variety and because the price was right. The quality of the product is good, the taste is better than I expected. The consistency of the shake is thicker than the Nature's Bounty, especially if you add banana. The whole container is 454 grams and each scoop is 40.3 grams, so you only get about 11 servings per container. It has more calories and sodium than the Nature's Bounty, so I usually only have a serving every 3 days or less, whereas with Nature's Bounty I would have a serving every other day. But with 25 G protein per serving, it's a good supplement.

I like this product because it contains no unnecessary ingredients such as sugar. You get the pure isolate protein, which is what is important. The powder is easy to dissolve in room temperature water. There is a mild milk taste, which is fine for me. It's like drinking watered down milk, which is not unpleasant. If you care more about the effectiveness of the product rather than taste, this product is great! I drink it after my work out, and I feel it helps me feel much less exhausted. So, I believe this product helps with recovery after exercise. Muscles feel stronger as well.

A very decent protein powder. I was looking specifically for the isolate, in order to get more protein with lesser calories for my fitness goals. This one was perfect for the price and quality. I got the non-flavored one, it taste like any other protein. The texture is dense, but the measuring cup is huge, so i’m assuming it’s quite light, so you might run out of it faster than you think. I mainly add it to baked oats since it’s the only way I can get more protein without “tasting” it. Here’s is the recipe if you’re the same way: 40g of oats, 25g of protein, 120g of milk, sweetener, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 banana. Blender everything and bake for 20min at 200 degrees Celsius.
As a long time protein shake user, it takes a lot to impress my palate at this point. However, EVLution Nutrition’s double rich chocolate 100% whey is phenomenal! It smells incredible opening up that jug - if a protein could capture the very essence of a chocolate milkshake, this one nails it. That scrumptious scent translates perfectly when mixed up. Zero chalkiness or weird aftertaste.I use 2 scoops in my post lift shakes and legit look forward to drinking it even after leg day when I’m utterly beat. The taste gives me something rewarding to focus on. And it must be solid protein-wise too because my muscle mass continues to build nicely week after week. This is my first time buying protien power. The powder is easy to use. The unflavored does have a taste, but not bad. I usually put it in unsweetened Almond Breeze vanilla milk with a couple teaspoons of chocolate syrup. It works well in yogurt. Adding raisins to it totally masks the taste. It definitely would be best to mix it with something other than water. I had concerns that this might aggravate my gerd, IBS or cause other stomach issues. It did not! The best thing with this is it is one ingredient only, no garbage additives, it's made in the USA in GMP facility and it is reasonably priced at iherb.

EVL protein (unflavored) comes in 2 types: 100% Isolate & 100% Whey. Both are both derived from milk concentration. Isolate contains more protein, less fat and carbs (it's been filtered to remove the lactose). So isolate is more suitable for those with difficulty digesting lactose. Whey contains 25g of protein/32.3 g serving while Isolate has 25g of protein/28.4g serving. I prefer Isolate as it contains more protein and less carbs, making it a more efficient source of fuel for our muscles. The price difference is quite negligible ($0.12/serving). I always choose Isolate over Whey!
This is a very good protein isolate. It is one ingredient only, no preservatives, no fillers. It is unflavored, but does have a taste to it. It's not a bad taste. I put it in chocolate milk. I can still taste it though the chocolate, probably wouldn't if I used more chocolate. A couple things I put it in that totally masked the taste is blueberry pancakes and Oikos 100 berry yogurt with raisins and pecans added. I especially like it is a reasonable price compared to other brands. Unfortunately, I was notified by iHerb that they are discontinuing it. Hope they decide not to.
so I recently had back surgery and my legs were very weak. I really need it to strengthen my legs especially the muscles below the knee. I'm doing lots of exercise but the recovery rate after the exercise was about three or four days. that prolonged my ability to recover. so I started taking two scoops of this protein powder, and I cut my recovery rate in half. I've just ordered some of their creatine monohydrate, and hopefully that might work even better.I'm also trying to lose weight, and the protein powder gives me a sense of fullness, and relieves hunger. it's assisting me to lose weight.finally I just want to mention that I ordered the unflavored version of this product.
