Fender Mustang LT50 Guitar Amplifier

I wanted a versatile amp that would be great for recording at home with plenty of sound variation possibilities but that could also be used on small gigs. I particularly wanted a line out facility for connection directly to my multi-track recorded that was independent of the main volume control on the amp. (Not often found on small amps). It is early days but I am confident that this amp will become a good friend.

A Gem In The Rough

I have to say my first impressions were not so great. The 30 preset are most awful and unusable. But there is good news. This amp comes with an additional 30 presets that are empty. If you take the amp models ala carte and just add a few effects now you've got something good..Programming the empty slots was a breeze and can be changed at any time. My problem is now I have too many choices. From a really pleasant Twin Reverb Clean to total fire breathing metal . It's all there and everything in between. The other positive is that this amp sounds really good at both low and high volume. The standard 12 inch speaker it comes with is really good.

Fender Mustang LT50 is a no brainer deal.

Looked for an amp that I could use as a novice and not outgrow as my experience progresses to intermediate level. Price was important and as a beginner I didn’t want to overspend on something that I couldn’t fully utilise. The free modelling up loads are a great option even though the presets provide more than enough range of adjustable sounds for me. In order of merit: 1. The sound is awesome, 2. The functionality is very intuitive, 3. The modelling and tech support is impressive 3. The price of £199 was affordable, 4. The PMT amp review, hassle-free buying experience and free delivery were the cherry on top!Yes there are GTX and Katana amps billed as beginner to intermediate, but for much more money and and to be pragmatic, I think you need an established ... MoreLooked for an amp that I could use as a novice and not outgrow as my experience progresses to intermediate level. Yes you get what you pay for and for the money the LT50 is an absolute no brainer.

Fender lt50 mustang amp

Love the amp. I ordered this by mail and was disappointed upon receipt to see I had clearly been sent a demonstration/previously used model. It was dusty and I had to restore the factory settings. The amp had been loosely packaged in an odd box and wasn’t adequately protected for the rigours of the post. Please take note PMT, sub-standard service. Great Amp !

Great practice small venue amp

I have bought from pro audio a number of times the products are always in new condition and the price is much better than the major competitors. Also, advertised in stock, I receive my order in just a couple of days.I have both the Mustang lt 25 and the 50. The feature settings are great as you can adjust to whatever suits your playing style. They both have plenty of volume for home or small venues Great amps for the price.

LT25 practical portable with good sound and lot of options

Very practical, small and light box. Easy to move and place anywhere. Good sound for that size. A lot of effects built inside - no need for extra equipment, which is handy when travelling or moving to play in the garden. Excellent implementation of tuner. Very easy synched with my iMac. Nice SW with capability to easy adjust-customize configurations, and make a backup of it in Fender cloud account. A lot of preloaded sounds with free access to even more from cloud. This is good for beginner and exploration, but I think I will remove most of them (knowing that I can reload anytime) and rearrange it to my basic line of sounds with some variations. For sure recommended.

Light and great for informal venues

Used for small informal events. At 19 pounds is easy. Tube amp and pedal board weigh more than twice as much. Get all the sounds as with the bigger rig, plus tons more. Being and playing with vintage (old) musicians, songs from the 50's forward need flexibility, so it offers options to cover the sounds and tones with the push of a button. The genre coverage is great from crisp, clean to dirty from Great Britain to the U.S. A 19 pound powerhouse.

Surprise At The Sound And 160 Presets !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just unboxed and hooked up to my PC. Downloaded the Fender tone amp. USB it to the computer, so it could update. And saw all the presets, my own 30 plus you can add 30 of your own on the amp. Then you using Fender Tone hooked up to your computer there is another 130 already set up , so you can just play and or adjust to your like'n. This amp sounds to me just as good as the more expensive gtx models with Bluetooth, and the Celestron speaker. This has the Fender special 12" speaker. It really cranks, on certain presets, and could be used at gigs. Everything I need for home use.

The best choice for someone on a low budget!

This is genuinely the best cheaper variety of amps out there. In my opinion it should be way more expensive because of how good it sounds and the amount of features it provides. It was my first ever amp yet I was able to use it without any prior knowledge on using any of these amps. It is also a go-to choice if you don't have space for an extremely large amp as this one is light-weight and fits anywhere!Would recommend to anybody getting it as their very first or perhaps looking for an upgrade. I do not recommend buying any other cheaper amps as those go into much lower quality despite the small price difference. You should spend a bit more instead and buy this amp.

Wow.

Unbelievable little amp. I got the LT50 over the 25 since it has a dedicated line out on the rear. It's only a hundred bucks more than it's lil' brother and it's 50 watts are totally misleading, but in the best way possible. This amp is LOUD. I mean LOUD, if you want it. Want your amp to sound like Eddie Van Halen's set up? Get this. Thirty built in voices are more than adequate, but plug it in to your desktop via USB and you will find 100 different amp set-up's to upload to the LT50. Every one of those are editable. Incredible. You would have to spend unreal $ to buy all the pedals and amps to recreate the sounds of this baby. Best bang for the buck I have ever found as a musician.
