Plus, if you’re not a fan of patchouli you may not like this fragrance, as the note was prominent to our noses. Longevity is great, so one can expect all-day performance without having to overspray. My final con is definitely the price point. Given that this thing isn’t readily available at department stores or discounters I think that the retail price of $140 for the 75mL just isn’t worth it, in my opinion. I am sure there are those who will love this fragrance, but my wife and I are not numbered among them. For the Rihanna lovers, or anyone else who wants to support the brand, I would suggest getting a sample or testing before committing to a full bottle blind-buy.

A favourite of mine, with some complaints

This fragrance is made up entirely of middle notes to provide a unique experience for each wearer, on myself i’ve mostly picked up the rose notes which I do love, but have recently started to pick up blueberry as well and a slight hint of tangerine. Although this is described as a long-lasting scent, I would not consider it that, as it usually disappears on myself after a few hours. I do LOVE this fragrance, but the first time I sprayed it, all I could smell was rose… so please keep this in mind when considering purchasing this fragrance.

It subtly reminds me of Decadence by Marc Jacobs and a little reminiscent of Tim Fords Black Orchid but sweet. This scent has longevity and I didn’t feel like I needed to reapply for a good few hours which is not the case with more modern fragrances. The bottle is pretty and looks high end. I think this is a great scent to add to your collection if you lean towards loving more unique unisex/masculine scents ( I literally by men’s cologne for myself ), and or very classic mature scents. Its interesting. My husband immediately commented positively on it so that’s a plus.

I have recieved a plethora of compliments since I started using this perfume, and it makes me feel so seen amongst the crowd. I highly recommend this for people seeking a non-basic signature scent. I once again would like to extend my thanks to both Sephora and Influenster for the oppurtuinity to test this fragrance and I am deeply excited to add this to my collection!

I was stopped by men, older women, younger girls, and asked what I was wearing. I carried my bottle around with me in my purse this past month to refresh at lunch and after work and I pulled it out at least 7 times to show the people who stopped me, what I was wearing. I wanted to get the full experience of this fragrance before I wrote my review and I’m glad I waited because this last week 3 people stopped me in public and told me how great I smelled and asked for the name of rheumatologist perfume I was wearing! All 7 people who stopped me this month were quick to try a couple sprays on themselves and take a photo of the bottle. I am very grateful for the opportunity to try this fragrance and to share it with those who I came in contact with this month. I’ve already bought a bottle for my best friend who is now in love with it, and I’m gifting one to my mother and another to my grandmother for easter. Fenty’s perfume has become one of my most worn perfumes!

I truly advise you to go into Sephora and test this out in person. While Sephora does have a generous return policy, I want to save you the possible disappointment you’ll receive after paying for it, and questioning if you want to go through the process of returning it.I’m rating this a 3/5, because while my experience was less than ideal, I can see some people enjoying this scent (just please try in store before you buy!)
