In general, like every other condenser dryer, it quickly dries really well, provided you use the right setting and load it sensibly. E.g. with too little washing the moisture detection will cut it off too soon, so use a timed setting instead. Some of the plastic around the condenser seems not to fit particularly well, and it doesn't slot in as easily as it should, but once locked in it's fine.

I swapped my dying Bosch condenser dryer for this Fisher and pie cool one. The Fisher and pie cool is streets ahead – it does everything the boss did, but faster and better. However, it has an alarmingly low to energy star rating, when other condenser dryers seem to have seven or eight stars. Will have to wait and see how this transpires on my next energy bill.

Had a Bosch serie 6 condenser dryer which failed after 3 years with electronics fault ($350 for parts if I did it myself). The F&P dryer is working very well. Clothes come out perfect with the 'everyday' cycle. Sheets get the reverse tumbling and towels are great. We notice its slightly noisy but its in the laundry and not a big issue. Hoping for good reliable long term use.

We are just casual users of the clothes dryer, but after renovating our laundry opted to replace our old, basic vent-to-room unit with this new condenser. The fact that it doesn't fill the room with moisture and can be programmed to stop when things are dry means we now use the dryer a bit more, eg to leave stuff going while going out or to bed without worrying whether it will be left damp or way over done. The controls are very easy to use and adjust, and I like that it can be permanently plumbed to the drain. Only once when I put in a full load of wet towels and left the laundry door closed did I get some condensation on the walls, but nothing like we used to.
No need for venting, Highly recommend if your Laundry does not have an external window. No more "crying walls" Option to connect the drain hose directly to drain/Tub or manually empty the water tank if no drain pipe is available Plenty of drying options from Auto, to select time intervals, heat, no heat,etc. Also has a cool rack accessory for drying shoes, teddys etc Drys quickly and efficiently Only con is it cannot be wall mounted, however it can be stacked if you have a compatible Fisher & Paykel Front loader. Had there been any other choice that I hadn’t already tried, I wouldn’t have. I have purchased a number of dryers over the years trying to find the best possible. At one point I had five. And not one of them was good enough for my needs. For the money a condenser dryer is better if you can afford the outlay. Where I live now there were very few choices available so basically this was it. It would not have been my first choice had an Electrolux Condenser dryer been available. Now for my completely honest opinion, you can’t beat a Speed Queen gas dryer. Yes they are more expensive and to install gas will be another outlay. But they will last you a lot longer than any other dryer on the market today. They are huge inside, easily able to dry a king size doona in an hour. The drying times and what they can hold is insane. I am not affiliated in any way with Speed Queen, this is from personal experience having owned a washing machine and gas dryer in Sydney. I have since retired and moved to Queensland and I can’t get gas where I am now. I still have a Speed Queen washing machine, but at my age the cost of one of their electric dryers was beyond what I could afford, or I would have one sitting along side my washer instead of a fisher paykel.
Much better than my previous 10 year old dryer, but it still has some issues. The alert for the condenser tray getting full doesn't work, so you just have to remember to empty it after every use. Also the humidity sensor in it isn't great, if you set it dry the clothes are still damp, have to set it to extra dry to just be dry. Also, the door can't be changed to open from the left, but that seems to be a rare feature nowadays.
I used to wash my clothes at public speed queen laundry it's took 1 hour start to finished. While go to shopping left my clothes for washing 30 minutes and came back after 30 minutes then leave in dryer for about 20 minutes. one hour I can shop and I can wash my clothes the same time, I used to wash twice a months for 20 dollars. This year 2022 the whole year weather was bad mostly raining I bought washing machine and dryer from Fisher and Paykel both working fine, DE8060P3 model create so much humid in my laundry room half goes in to water tank half flying steam the whole room. I don't have extra window to solve this issue, wet weather plus dryer steam create mould on my celling.
Both my old washing machine and dryer had given up and I needed to replace both. After I had done a lot of research I decided on a Fisher and Paykel washing machine and condenser dryer. I wasn’t familiar with the brand but am very happy and would make the same choice again. The different settings allow for more delicate clothes to be dried. I had a delicate setting on my old dryer but thought that to still be too hot so I mainly used it for towels. The sensor works very well so at the end of the cycle everything comes out dry. The automatic setting makes it very easy to use.
Replaced my trusty 18+ yrs old Fisher and Paykel 7kg vented dryer which was making a squeaky noise from the drum belt. Decided to upgrade it with another F & P condenser dryer which doesn't steam up the laundry; no need to open the window or door anymore. Although its energy efficiency is only 2 stars, the more efficient heat pump model is way too expensive. Would take us 4-5 years to recover its cost because there are only two of us. The larger capacity is good for washing doona covers, pillow cases and bedsheets at the same time. Highly recommended.
