This is, without doubt, an excellent shock pump - the reason I only gave it 4 stars, 4 1/2 would be more accurate, is because at the final tightening of the valve adapter/fitting the ball joint coupling seems to prevent (makes more difficult, at very least) the valve from making a tight fit without a bit of faff and fiddle. My old and trusted pump for over 20 years could articulate around the hose easily… maybe this will become easier to use/secure after some use, but my observation is that little piece of the puzzle isn’t quite as good as the rest of the pump. All that said, don’t let this put you off, it works brilliantly and is great to use, the reality is that I still wouldn’t buy a different pump, it is well worth purchasing.

This is a nice pump. I bought this to get another level of precision on my pressure in my shocks so I could monitor, based on the Shock Wiz data that I developed for all my shocks. The accuracy of the pump appears to vary about 5% from the shock wiz computer reading. At lower pressures for front shock, at 67 psi on the shock wiz, the pump reads 65 psi. At 105 psi on the shock wiz, the pump reads 101. At 240 psi on the shock wiz, the pump reads 226. Not sure which one is the most accurate, but is pretty consistent 5% difference across the range. The pump works well, has a nice slim design, and I would recommend.

It works, but the grip is awkward while pumping and you have to be careful not to accidentally hit the pressure release button on the bottom below the gauge while pumping. On the plus side you can get your FoxShok up to the desired pressure with this tool and a regular pump just won't do it! The compact size means you can carry it in your toolbox and have it available whenever and wherever needed.

Bought this to replace the standard shock pump I'd been using. Not that there was really anything wrong with it, but it's not like a dial with a total travel of 3 inches to indicate a 300PSI range is going to be super easy to repeat exact pressures every time. This allows you to set by individual PSI. Handle is in good placement, as is the air release valve...have had some in the past where it was very easy to depress the air release while trying to inflate fork/shock. Long term longevity to be determined, but so far, it's great
For the price you can't beat this little pump. Quickly gets up to pressure and the dial reads accurately. The materials used for the pump make it feel like a premium item (think Snap-On or Proto for the price of Craftsman) without breaking the bank. It screws on to the valves easily and quickly. The "ball" joints on either end of the hose let you position the pump in the best position for pumping. The pump screws on easily with a hand (even a greasy/oily hand) and requires no tools. My only complaint is the pump is not very "hand friendly" and sometimes I accidentally press the pressure release valve when trying to cycle the pump. One note for newbies (like myself): I thought my shock was still leaking air after a seal replacement (also available on Jenson!) since ... MoreFor the price you can't beat this little pump. Turns out you are supposed to prime the pump before fully attaching it to the shock valve. You can accomplish this by screwing on the valve nut a couple of turns stopping just before you depress the valve core. Pump up the shock to somewhere around your guestimated pressure and then fully screw on the pump. This will alleviate your heartache.Pros:Easy to attach to shock/fork valvesLarge indicator dial with clear markingsHigh quality materialsCons:no great place to hold pump without getting some aches in your handPosition of pressure release valve makes it easier to accidentally release some of your hard earned pressure.
Seems that it's a good deal and works as it should... however need to use it a few times and see how it does in the future to really know..? But eBay want a review immediately... which is not realistic when certain things customers buy are not used every day or even immediately..? As we all know, you can purchase anything that works good when you first get it but doesn't work the next time you use it..? Hopefully it's not the case with this Pump...
This seems to be a very nice pump, but I can't predict how long it will last. In my experience shock pumps don't last very long no matter what brand it is. The swivel head is a nice touch and should help the hose last longer, the hose being the weak spot in almost every pump I've owned. I'm just wondering how long the swivel head will last. That said, my experience with Fox products has been very good in the past. This is the first Fox pump I've owned. If it is as well made as their suspension components, I should be happy with it long term. I am happy with the price I paid. I think it is the lowest priced pump I've purchased in a long time.
The Fox High Pressure suspension fork is well made. The metal work is smooth and well finished. Pumping is easy and the pressure gauge allows precise pressure settings. The pump handle is comfortable. The pump has a solid feel. Pumping my Cane Creek Helm suspension fork to 90 psi took less than two minutes.
This is the only shock pump I would use. It is reliable and does the job. I had another shock pump from a competitor that was overly faulty and not fun to use. The Fox Shock Pump has always been reliable and does a great job. Don't look anywhere else.
I really like this pump. It has a button on it where you can release just a small amount of pressure to fine tune the shock. That's the biggest reason I bought it. Also, it's very solidly made from metal with an excellent head. All in all perfect for the application.
