I bought this for my bike because the rear shock requires a high pressure rate. I really like the screw on valve attachment and the pump certainly delivers high pressure. What's best is when I remove the pump a minimal amount of air escapes- which means the amount of pressure I put in stays right around what the gauge says I put in. No complaints- well maybe one: because it's a longer shock pump, it doesn't fit in to my fanny pack.

My other shock pump was really hard to pump and I could never get enough air in my shock to get to 30% sag. I finally checked and found that my pump gauge was off by over 30 psi. I was never getting enough air in my shock. My new Rockshox pump is so much easier to use. The gauge is within a few psi of three others that I compared it against and it is consistent. I'm finally getting my sag setup correctly!

The front suspension (hard tail) I use was over-engineered. Sag adjustment (adjustment of air) is easy to do. However, when adjusting the sag of the front suspension, the memory is around 1/5. (Apart from the fact that the scale is hard to read with presbyopia) A simpler one might have been better (for now)

Product is well made and just like other models in the RockShox range. However the screw on connector is not as foolproof on disconnection.Often lets all air out when unscrewing unlike other models which have a better release.
Good light pump for air shocks. I wanted something that went over 350psi, this one suits the requirements. Fill over the desired pressure by 10psi to 20psi as removal & attachment of the hose you'll lose some pressure.
Overall an excellent pump. I bought it for some bikes I'm rebuilding and it's performed well for it's intended purpose. Measurements are accurate, and the pump and bleed components function flawlessly. My only complaint is that the hose and valve connector tighten together as the valve connector tightens to the suspension valve. This leads to the entire pump needing to be rotated to fully secure it to or detach it from the valve. It's also possible that I'm not connecting it correctly. Regardless, this is a great entry purchase for the pump type.
The end of the piston inside the pump rod is plastic, screws onto the metal rod, and keeps “unscrewing” itself. Along with the plastic collar unscrewing itself as well.Basically as I’m using it, the plastic piston separates itself from metal rod and comes flying off. Ive tried theadlock and nothing seems to keep it together. The last time it happened, the rod came out and scratched my carbon frame. I was pissed.Other than that- the pump works great when it’s working. But in all honesty, I should’ve stuck with Fox. I’m tired of Rockshox stuff failing on me.
I did not like this tool. The numbers are so small it's hard to read anything but factors of 10.What if you want 75 psi? Then the face came undone, and stuck to the glass.I replaced it with another brand in digital
Needed a high pressure pump to fill the IFP on my FOX rear shock to 500 psi. This pump does the trick! The extended fill fitting is nice for the newer forks/shocks with recessed valves. The hose is nice and flexible, however, it feels a bit light duty. I also don't care for the swivel attachment at the pump body. Hopefully it'll hold up over time.
I have now had this pump for a few months, and it used to read pressure immediately when you attached it. Now I have to pump it a few times to get it to the proper pressure. Sortof annoying after paying for this pump, but it works well if you need to pressurize ifp's in shocks. Doesn't work for some shocks though because they use nitrogen (float dpx2).
