The Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) of the XF70-300mmF4-5.6 enables sharp freehand shooting even at long focal lengths and in low light. It effectively compensates for camera shake caused by slow shutter speeds over 5.5 EV stops. When the lens is used on cameras with built-in five-axis image stabilization (IBIS), such as the Fujifilm X-T4 or Fujifilm X-S10, even further stabilization is achieved. The combination of the two systems compensates not only for typical camera shake that occurs during shooting, but also for linear shifts such as those that occur when the camera is pulled along or panned. The autofocus of the XF70-300mm F4-5.6 is based on a fast and quiet linear motor that works in perfect harmony with the advanced AF system of the X series cameras.
