I bought this 18 months ago, had it replaced 12 months ago because the switch broke, and this time the USB charging socket broke. Returned it for a full refund.

Used this for a small room and bathroom for a house that didn’t have fly screens worked well.My only gripe is the battery inside is smaller than advertised, 11% smaller.Gecko advertises it as being 2200mAh but it’s actually 2000mAh. Was able to run it all night without it turning off so that’s good enough for me.It is possible to remove the outer transparent cage to clean it properly but be careful as the screws are just tapped in to the plastic.

After the initial disappointment of this item not working (turns out it had a bad battery) I returned it to the store and was given a replacement. We've had absolutely no problems with it since. It certainly does the job for what we need.It's perfect at night for our dog who sleeps out on the deck off the bedroom sometimes, so no issue for him with Mozzies etc.It's an easy to clean and charge unit and a winner in our household.

Bought this to kill mozzies but was a waste of $70.00Does nothing I’m afraid mozzies buzz around but aren’t attracted to the light at all
Your reviewI can comfortably sit outside knowing I won't be bothered by insect bites, no more waving or slapping but peace and comfort. I also take it with me when working in the garden as it is there I get bitten and don't know it until it itches, its very easy to take where its needed.
I’m not sure which planet this mozzie zapper is made for, but it’s not for here on Earth. Doesn’t attract or kill even half a dozen mozzies when the yard is literally swarming with them.Although it’s sold as suitable for outdoors, it can’t get wet. Like, not a drop. Not even damp. It was positioned under a waterproof awning, but died immediately from the mist that floated in from the downpour outside.I’m now $69 out of pocket and still getting eaten alive.Trip advisor rating: -3/10. Do not recommend.PS: Buy a Yardguard Premium Insect Trap and an attractant block for $35 extra instead.
Don’t waste your money.The bugs will fly past the light to land on you instead. Completely useless product that Bunnings should be ashamed to sell.
I bought this over a month ago. The first one didn't last more than an hour so I returned it for a replacement. It is an attractive light but as a bug zapper is completely useless. I still get bitten nightly and I believe the mozzies use the light to make it easier to locate me. What a waste of $69.00
Would rate this -5 if I could because it has been a complete waste of time and money. I bought this last year. I was very optimistic but it is less than useless. It can be on all night and not even kill a single insect, let alone a mossie. If I still had the box etc, I would definitely return it. They should not be allowed to be sold! Where are the consumer protection measures? There is absolutely no way this could have passed any product testing! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
Clearly people aren't understanding this is not meant to be for a giant sized cooking area or backyard patio it is literally for a desk job tiny space got one in my room it's a small room does a great job kills the odd mossie that gets inside
