If I could rate it a zero, I would! Don't buy a Weber grill...you will regret it!Bought this Weber S325s Dec 29, 2023. Started assembly on Jan 8, 2024. Noticed some issues with parts and a HUGE issue with the 2 front doors...they are VERY out of square on the front frame because the frame weldment is not square. I am a mechanical engineer, so I am certain the weldment is the issue...there is no way to adjust the doors. As part of beginning the resolution process I also learned that Wayfair's listing on this item relative to the warranty is wrong. This item does not have a "full 12 year warranty" as listed...it is only a limited warranty, with most parts only 5 years. They would not offer any kind of discount or rebate on the warranty issue. And they would only offer replacement parts AFTER I register the defective grill I have....which leaves me out the 3+ hours of assembly time, plus disassembly time to rebuild the grill after I get new parts. I should not have to register / keep a defective assembly, so Weber said to contact Wayfair to return the grill. I then contacted Wayfair to do a return, but after hours on the phone with 3 different folks at Wayfair we have a "catch 22" situation. The grill is mostly assembled...packaging has been cut and/or thrown away. Wayfair won't supply new packaging and won't pickup the assembled grill! So how do I do a return? They say I can't. I should not be stuck with a defective product...one which was stated to have a 12 year full warranty, but does not.So the only option I see is to proceed with a credit card disputed transaction process. Trust me, this isn't worth any of my time or yours. This was my first and last Weber grill experience!

We have used Weber grills for many years and were very happy with them. The first two lasted over a 27 year span of very frequent use. When we moved, the second grill was given to a friend, as it was still going strong. In 2020, we purchased a Spirit model and had to essentially rebuild/replace parts, so after 4 years of unreliability, that one went to the rubbish pile.We purchased a Genesis 325s the first part of July this year. The igniter did not work, so that went back to Home Depot. We then purchased locally an assembled grill of the same model. The igniter only works on the first burner and the others have to be manually lit. Weber has a very poor trouble desk and no customer service, told me to call HD and no help, sent me back to Weber and back to HD again. ... MoreWe have used Weber grills for many years and were very happy with them. I am uninterested in assembling and rebuilding more grills. $920 later, I have yet again another inferior Weber product. No quality control, no help. Just tiresome boomeranging to get me off the phone. Don’t waste your money.
Well, I can't say it's the best grill I've ever owned but it ranks among the best. Just so it's known I've only owned Weber Grills with my first kettle in the 70's. A Smokey Joe in the 90's and a Q Series. All of which never wore out but were cleaned up, refreshed and gifted to family and friends. I purchased the 325 out of envy. My daughter spotted a 310 placed by the neighbor's curb. We scooped it up, cleaned it up, replaced the flavor bars and burners. 320 grit sandpaper and fresh paint took care of the rust and neglected areas. As the 310 left my house, I felt that I have to retire the Q series and get a newish 310. Shopping around I found that the price of a new 310 was about the same as a slightly used model so I went to the big box store to buy new. As the 310 left my house, I felt that I have to retire the Q series and get a newish 310. Shopping around I found that the price of a new 310 was about the same as a slightly used model so I went to the big box store to buy new. I chose the 310 and what was picked from stock was not the same as the floor model that I desired and as I explained and showed the associates the differences, I happen to notice the 325 sitting near by the was marked as a clearance model new it the box, so for $1 more I got a larger grilling area and side platforms with the sear feature. I am extremely pleased with this grill. WEBER quality of materials and manufacture is still as good as it always has been and I am confident that it too will last for years. I barbeque 2-3 times a week and am quickly learning the peculiarities of this new model with the 'sear' feature. I can say I'm more than pleased just ecstatic. Now if only WEBER would reintroduce the web bug killer again. I used to sit quietly on my back patio with the dim glow of the lamp sipping red wine, listening to the small snaps and watching the mini fireworks of the zapper as it effortlessly eliminated the pesky mosquitoes from the nearby lake. My web was stolen and the units available today just don't do a very good job.
First off, the grill is extremely heavy, around 165 pounds. The enclosed cabinet makes it difficult to install the new tank when the old one is empty. It also makes it very difficult if you have any issues like I had, where I had to replace the regulator, which was faulty from the factory. my regulator was leaking gas where the hose connected to the regulator, and I had to argue with people from Weber to get a new regulator, even though it was brand new. One person from Weber said, “oh, because it is a floor model there is no warranty and we won’t cover it.” Imagine that, a brand new grill and Weber didn’t want to cover a faulty regulator. Be careful when using the grill, as you light the burners, which are all lit separately, make sure they have all ignited before ... MoreFirst off, the grill is extremely heavy, around 165 pounds. On the positive side, I like the seer feature for cooking steaks and the grill seems to do a good job as it was intended to. Lastly, I was kind of surprised that the grill does not come with a cover, which you have to purchase separately for around $100.
Long time Weber customer and have owned nothing but Weber for 60 years.CONS: My new grill doesn't feel as substantial as my old Genesis that I had for over 15 years. The controls feel different and setting tom medium takes some getting used to. I wish I had not purchased the WIFI capable grill as I am now tethered to an electrical outlet via an extension cord. I wish it had a rechargeable battery instead. The only way I get get a grill temp now is via the readout on the control panel or on my phone. The only other way to get a temp is with an external thermometer that I have to place inside the grill.PROS: The temperature can be maintained via the adjustments to the grill with the controls and holds steady near the desired temp when reached. I am generally not one to write bad reviews but this grill is sub-par. I had my previous weber genesis for 13 yrs and it never once had any rust on it. This new has been starting to rust since the 2nd month of me having it. You replaced the side table for me which was great because I could not get the rust off. The quality of stainless is very low and I will forever have to polish to keep it nice.Starting the grill is also a pain. I have followed all of the guidlines to starting and have had to come up with my own as well to get the burners lit. It takes a good 15-20 seconds of the ignitor sparking before anything lights no matter how long you leave the gas on. It takes a good 15-20 seconds of the ignitor sparking before anything lights no matter how long you leave the gas on. I know I will be replacing the ignitor in a very short time period.Once the grill is lit the cooking surface is very inconsistant in how it cooks. My old grill no matter where I placed food it would cook at exactly the sme speed. With this grill I am constantly having to rotate food into the "hot spots" so that everything cooks the same. I know the sear zone exists and this has nothing to do with that. The irregularity in temperature is more of a front to back thing rather than a side to side. With that being said if there is half a piece of meat over the burner and half between the 2 burners the part over the burner will burn and the other half will remain raw.Overall I am unimpressed with the quality of the grill and also unimpressed with quality of the cooking surface and how the food cooks. We all pay quite a bit of money for a quality product that will last and cook well and this specific grill missed the mark. If I wanted a rusty grill with hot and cold spots on the cooking surface I could have paid a quarter of the amount of money. For reference I cook on the grill about 4 - 5 nights a week no matter the season. I am not expecting anything from this but thought I would give my reasoning for a 2 star review.
The good:This is a very nice, quality grill. The 3 main burners great the entire grill area very evenly and the sear burner is perfect for finishing. I really like the fact that the burners are actually able to control the heat and dual in the coming temp, which means I can allow cook BBQ to perfection at my desired temp. Also get a good temp probe set like ThermoPro, as the gauge may not be accurate. I got a pellet tube to place in the grill for smoke, and it works great as a smoker. So far, I've done pulled pork, tri-tip burgers and steaks. They all came out great. That's what I want in a grill. Castors are really nice as well. The burners give out more heat than other grills, which is great. The grease management is nice as well. The bad:Although construction ... MoreThe good:This is a very nice, quality grill. Not crazy about the tool hook location.Additionally, I thought it was supposed to come with a tank guage and a fold out upper rack as well as an inner lid heat shield which was shown in all the reviews, but it did not, so that was disappointing. But these things really do no detract from the fact that this grill really performs well and is a pleasure to use. Price is OK, especially with the great warranty.
I've always purchased grills about 1/3rd the cost of a Weber. My reasoning was that although a Weber might last 10 years, I could purchase a new grill every 3 years and be about even in price. In case something happened to the Weber, then I'd be ahead. 10 years is a long time for sheet metal to last outdoors in the Chicago seasons. This year, I went out to get my less expensive grill and found that the ones available all had side-burners (which I'd never use) or missing the storage doors on the bottom. So I thought I'd pay out and get a Weber.I've only cooked ribs on it so far. I cooked them the same way as the previous grills. Top rack and moved over to the right with the far left burner lit on low. This gets me a temp of about 250-275. Top rack and moved over to the right with the far left burner lit on low. This gets me a temp of about 250-275. I let them sit for about 3 hours.I do have to say that the Weber is cooking the ribs more evenly. I used to turn the ribs 4 times during the cook because it got a little hotter on the left side due to the burner being on. So the heat was decently even, just hotter on the left which necessitated the turn every 45 minutes. With the Weber, I only have to turn them 1 time.My 4-star rating is only because the fuel-measurement device is pretty much a gimmick. It's not that accurate and the reality is, if you're cooking outdoors, you should always have a 2nd tank on hand. I typically just lift it a little to test the weight, but mostly find out I'm out of fuel when it runs dry.It is definitely a better build than the previous and for 3x the cost, I'd expect it to be. Will it stand the test of time? I'll update this review in 10 years and let you know.
