Be careful to get the size right, I ordered the wrong one... Global knife sharpeners have 2 different sizes. This wasn't at all clear on the item description.

Works perfectly to sharpen the knives
You must keep your Global knives in perfect sharpened condition to get the most out of them. Don't do what I did and try and use the same old sharpening wheels for years....I'd bought the sharpener when I bought my set of Global knives and was trying to make it last for the past 10 years. I couldn't understand why my knives were getting worse and worse even though i was sharpening them every 2nd week with the original sharpener. You've got to replace the wheels regularly! As soon as I got new wheels I could immediately tell the difference in how smooth it was to sharpen the knives and how much sharper they instantly became!
My knives are now sharp again. I appreciate that I could buy replacement parts and not have to buy whole new Global Sharpener.
