Bought this for myself for Christmas. I have several bike locks all of which are key operated and I often struggle to find the keys so I liked the combination lock and sturdy construction. It's not totally their proof, few locks are, but it is a pretty strong chain and lock and the combination selectors seem precise and well made. The only reservation I have is that it is sold as a "wearable" lock. Having had a friend who had a life changing spinal injury as a result of one of his vertebrae being dislodged in a cycling accident by a metal tool in his back pack I think the manufacturers and sales team might want to rethink this.
Very solid chain and lock mechanism. Have used it a few times and for me it is a good compromise between a 2kg monster and a flimsy cafe lock. Would have liked a few more links in the chain though.
Happy with this lock - great for locking up when running errands round town - good blend of security and like that I can easily carry it on my waist. My 11 year old also uses it for their bike sometimes as the combination lock makes it easy. They do the Hiplok in stronger versions too which are Sold Secure rated if you need to lock up longer but this is adequate security for my town and I like a code instead of keys.
This is a great lock, it's light and easy to use for my 6 year old son.
