Hugo Boss Boss Bottled (Tester) 100ml Parfum (M) SP

Of the Hugo Boss "apple cinnamon" type of fragrances, this one is by far my favorite. I still wouldn't wear it, because there are plenty of other fragrances I like much better (including ones doing the same type of thing). But it smells nice enough, like a slightly less cloying "Stronger With You" type of vibe. The spice isn't very strong here at all on me; it's more of a sweet, toffee-like accord with some warmth. Nothing too original, but it does a decent job at what it's going for, with the sweet warm fall-like scent. I do feel like it's very overpriced for what it is, though; as with most Hugo Boss fragrances, to me it doesn't smell like it should cost more than $50-60 for a full size.

What I smell most is Apples and a bit of Cinnamon, which too many is gonna seem like oh it smells like Thanksgiving or Holidays. But it doesn't. I think this is more of Ocean type smell (aptly named Marine) than a woody smell. I like both so not an issue even if it was. Its a very casual scent, not too strong by any means. My wife said it does smell nice. Some have compare this to Versace Eros and I have that also, and I can tell you it definitely does NOT smell like Versace Eros. Its different, but still good. The Mint, Patchouli, and Cashmere presence comes in after few minutes. Second aspect is longevity. I would say it last 3-4 hours as in someone in 6 feet radius can smell it. I'd say that's average for most Eau De Toilettes out there, remember this is toilette and not Eau De Parfum. After 4 hours, I gave my wife my wrist to smell and says, she does smell it if she's close to me like less than 3 feet. Third aspect is if the product is skin friendly and it is. I have a thin skin, not sensitive though. But I sprayed on and left it for a day and haven't found anything wrong. Also, I do not get headaches with this smell. Now I know majority of folks love Viktor Rolf Spicebomb but I had tried that and had a major headache. To each their own I guess, but it was way too strong for me. And having three children, I can do away with extra unwanted headaches. In conclusion, for the cost of around $90 its selling, I'd give this 4 1/2 stars for cost to value ratio. However, 4 1/2 star is not an option so I will give it a 5 star since half star shouldn't be taken away for no fault of the brand. I wouldn't say its perfect 5 either, but I round up rather than down. This is perfect cologne for someone who wants gentler, sweeter, not too strong smell. Preferred wearing time would be in the evening and night. Pro tip, if you want your cologne and perfume to last even longer, apply vaseline to your pulse points or where you intend to spray your perfume. You can also use unscented body oil. Reason being that on dry skin, the smell doesn't hold as long and dry out. is a winner.

Awesome, just in time for summer

I really enjoyed testing this, I love that they kept the same shape of the bottle and made the bottle a little frosty and blue. The smell is sophisticated, it doesn’t give off a marine feel, but it certainly gives me a fresh feeling when wearing.I think this can be used in both summer and winter, as it gives off vibes for both seasons.I’m very glad I got to try the 100ml bottle, as I’m really enjoying this test.The wear time is quite good for an EDT, it lasts for a good 5 hours before fading and you don’t need too much much of it. A quick freshen up at lunch time perhaps, or before work drinks.Overall, this was a pleasure to test and my girlfriend loves it too which is a double win.

I did consider giving this product 5 stars, but the only reason I haven't is that the fragrance does not seem to be very strong or more accurately, does not seem to last that long. I have the After Shave splash and that having the same scent does seem stronger than this. Previously I used Hugo Boss Balderesinni which smelt pretty similar and as it is no longer made changed to this. However, as I said, the scent is not that strong and certainly does not have the staying power of "Balderesinni". It's still a good scent though.

To celebrate World Cup back in 2018, Hugo Boss released this limited version of the Boss Bottled line. It's a very fresh fragrance. It opens up with that blood orange followed by that spearmint note. The spearmint is not strong unfortunately. As it dries down it becomes pretty woodsy. I do get a bit of melon and patchouli in the background. Performance is average. I get 6 to 7 hours on my skin with an hour of projection. Upon arrival, you realise it keeps the signature style of a boss aftershave. Slick boxing, easily distinguishable and eye catching.From the first smell of this scent you notice the beautiful Smokey apple flavours. It is very fresh and unique, not really many do it this well.Went to a friends party the night of it arriving. Went out for a few drinks and got many compliments for it. My friends asked where to purchase it and it turned a few heads in the bar of the fairer gender.All in all would highly recommend if you are looking a change from the norm and do not want to be upset with what you pick.
