I love Samla storage boxes! I have a box for every colour fabric. They stack and are easy and light to access. I can see through them. Yardage fabrics lie flat and stay free of dust and humidity. The smaller boxes are exactly the right size for fat quarters or for my scraps and left overs from quilt projects. Best of all, at $5 and $2 they are affordable and great value for money. Thanks Ikea!!!

We use the samla containers to keep our extra toiletries and garage organized. They easily stack, even among the different sizes - which is also a plus. The see-through plastic helps to quickly find things. The lids are not the most secure and the plastic is not the strongest, but those are not issues for our current needs.

I have purchased several of these boxes in the past and also recently. For my recent purchase the plastic snapped and split on first use. I’m really disappointed and I feel really ripped off as these are not cheap. It looks like the quality has deteriorated as they are really flimsy now. I won’t buy again but have no idea how to return the parcel online as I can’t go to the store to do this. Shocked with the low Ikea quality on this product.

Not sure if this is the small bin or the large bin to review. Both used to organize in my PAX wardrobe. Smaller bin to organize smaller sized items.I needed a bin that was long to use on the shelf in my PAX wardrobe. Use up the space properly. I wish these bins came in widths that you could fit 2 or 3 bins across. All 39 inches. Like a bin 12 inches wide!! Hint hint IKEA!! Better use of the space. Sadly no genius at IKEA has thought of that! This bin at these measurements I can fit 2 with space left over but not for a skinner bin. The bin itself is fine. I hold purses in one and picture frames in the other. I store my off season clothing in the bigger version of this bin. I like clear bins so you don’t forget what’s in there.
I really like the SAMLA boxes/lids. I use them for all my storage needs. I like the newer design where the lid clicks in place on the box; the old version doesn’t do this. Great improvement! The reason I gave four stars instead of five is that the product labels are next to impossible to remove. The labels used before pealed off fine in one piece but these are a nightmare to remove. What’s the point of a clear box/lid if you have a large label covering up what’s inside. It appears the vendor who makes these dropped the ball on the product labeling. They’re also cut so the label won’t remove in one piece. If they can fix this issue, I’d give it five stars.
The box is a perfect size and the transparency is great for organizing stuff. It's annoying when you have to buy the top separately from the bottom, and it also looks a lot cheaper on the site than if they came together. While it would be good to offer replacement tops - the plastic gets brittle over time and we have quite a few older boxes in this category with broken tops - when you initially buy one, just bundle a top with a bottom and show the price at the outset please?
I already have a couple of sizes of these boxes and I love them. Love that they are clear so I can see what is in them without taking of the top.Love the variety in sizes, I just bought the largest one for storage if and art pieces of mine and needed one box that could accommodate all sizes from tiny to large, and this fits the bill.Over time, I can see myself converting a lot of my daily storage needs to these.
Bought these plastic containers last week. This is the first time I bought something from IKEA.I like them as these containers are very sturdy and seems to be long lasting as the quality is very good. Look wise also and Space saver as well.Value for money. I recommend this product.
I am happy with the box. However, VERY UNHAPPY because I got the box without the lid. It did not EVEN occur to me that it was possible to buy a box without the lid?!? Please train the staff to ask customers if they want a box WITHOUT a lid. So turned out to be a very expensive box because I had to pay €10 for delivery twice. (I asked why the price was lower than on the internet. Your sales rep said it was a special offer.)
