Very pleased with my purchase.It is a smart- looking fryer, very neat and looks good on the counter top, blending in well with my cooker. The fact that it is mainly stainless steel and a little black makes it stand out against other all-black models.It is quiet in operation and very easy to clean.So far, I have cooked fish, chicken, meat, chips and roasties, using airfry and roast programmes, all with very good results. Perfect size for 1-2 people. Very easy to understand the digital programming and cheaper than switching on the oven. Looking forward to trying the baking option soon!

I ordered an air fryer after a friend cooked some food for us in one. I chose this design as it is small and compact and big enough for 2 people.It does save time on heating an oven, it is ready to cook in only a few minutes. I bought one of these last week and I have used it almost everyday since it arrived. I absolutely love it! I only have a small kitchen and my other Ninja 5.7l round basket air fryer is to big to fit on my counter so doesn't get used very often. Besides, I wanted a square basket air fryer such as this Instant Vortex. You can put so much more in the basket without having to layer the food you are cooking. It has a very small footprint and fits perfectly on the worktop. It cooks the food perfectly and is just the right size for 1-2 people. Don't hesitate to buy it - honestly!
Absolutely love this . So much so that I bought one for my bestie ( despite her not ever mentioning wanting an air fryer!) I'm a healthy bod and use the instead of other kitchen items -Wholemeal bread straight from toaster done in less than 2 minutes , so no toaster on worktop anymore . Hard boiled eggs - 17 min and they never boil dry as no water . Asparagus and green beans from fresh almost taste BBQ'd veggie burgers , escalopes etc - I even decant the odd ready meal into a glass dish and oven fry instead of microwave with plastic and soggy top. I have a camper and it comes away with me in that .Absolutely love it . Plenty big enough for two and not too big for one . Great footprint in small kitchen .
This is a great addition to my kitchen! I love to cook and bake. I’ve been using it almost every day and constantly think of new things to try, happily everything comes out tasty. Tend to eat a lot of seafood vegetables and other non-processed foods so this is perfect. Never liked fried food. I use a very light coating of avocado oil and seasoning-all I need. Last night I halved A couple peaches from my backyard and a little butter on top couldn’t ask for a better dessert! Super easy cleanup, that was my only concern and it’s definitely not an issue
This was recommended by some highly respected publication that I trust, but they blew it on this one. I want to be able to control my own pre-heat cycle, but cannot do it. It’s already pre-programmed for my convenience! We have a Cuisinart “toaster oven style” air fryer at home (this one was purchased for a vacation home) and it is FAR superior than this clunky junk. I have an Instant Pot cooker which I do love, so thought I was making a good choice with this one, but that’s not the case. My daughter loves her double basket Ninja. Maybe look there instead.

Bought the Vortex Plus 6 as it had the option to grill as well as bake and air fry. Chose the larger model as it gave the option to roast and bake items that would otherwise have to go into an oven. I like the design in black and stainless steel. A little on the large side for my small kitchen but I did manage to give it a permanent place on the worktop. So far, I have been very impressed with its performance - chips, asparagus and salmon all perfectly cook very quickly, following the temperature and timings advised on the Instant website. Reheating of samosas and nan bread excellent.
