Next, the durability and comfort. The durability is very good for gaming headphones, being that i fondly switch to different consoles and PC's. The setup takes seconds, so these are the go-to durability headphones. The comfort is great. The cushioning around the ear makes the experience of the headphones amazing. although the headphones in general are a little heavy, the cushioning around the ear, and by the headband are very comfortable. Lastly, the features all around the JBL QUANTUM 600's. one of the best features, is the setting that lets you hear the chat over the game, or the game over the chat. Extremely useful. I am on discord a TON, and that setting is just great. Probably the icon of the JBL QUANTUM 600’s is the JBL QUANTUM ENGINE. Although I am still studying the JBL QUANTUM ENGINE, it is so far so awesome and it can adjust to the wearer's needs. Also, the discord certification. They work amazingly well with discord. The JBL QUANTUM 600’s have a certification on discord. However, it hasn't worked for me yet. Hopefully it will work for you. Amazing features overall. These are all the reasons why I think the JBL QUANTUM 600’s go above and beyond. for the surround sound, the durability and comfort, the discord certification, the QUANTUM ENGINE, and the all-around features. These are my best gaming headphones yet, and I highly recommend the JBL QUANTUM series.

**Xbox consoles stay away** For PC, wirelessly , these are decent. They sound good and I've gotten compliments on how clear my mic sounds. Had to install the JBL software and update the firmware on the headset. Battery life is good, I charge then at night when I see the battery getting low, so I can't really complain about not being able to use them while they charge. For Xbox consoles, just buy a different headset, stay away from these. They don't work wirelessly for Xbox (as others have stated), worse yet if you plug into controller and have volume set higher than 50%, the sound from the speakers bleeds into the mic, which will annoy your teammates. The Quantum 600 fit my ears better (the truly go around my ear and on parts of my ear) than my JBL Everest Elite. I do like the 45 degree plug for both devices and like how they went back to the standard 1/8 plug for the headphone jack for the Quantum 600. The standard JBL headphone input was smaller and you always had to carry around a JBL cable or you were out of luck. They do fit a little looser on my head even though they fit better over my ears. It would be nice to be a little tighter on the head (I assume a smaller circumference for the headphones) and not move around when moving your head. The have a classy style and they feel like they are a quality product. I find them comfortable and I usually wear them for a couple hours at a time. My kids use them for many hours as well. We've had them about 3 months now with zero issues. I only gave 4 stars because the volume dial is positioned in such a way that I turn it every time I remove the headphones and the volume is different when I sit back down. A bit annoying. I also think that the battery life could have been a bit better (especially with te RGB on... turn it off with the software to extend batter life). The earcups are deep, well padded and large enough to completely cover my ear comfortably. The frame and body is made of a sturdy feeling plastic and the head strap has decent padding and covered in the same soft, smooth synthetic material as the earcups. Although a bit on the heavy side, I can wear this headset for hours without ear fatigue or discomfort and the benefit of being wireless with a 14hr rechargeable battery is worth the added weight. The wireless range is pretty incredible and is my favorite feature of the Quantum 600. It allows me to walk around pretty much anywhere in my house while staying in range. The JBL Quantum Engine software is cool, but only works on PC. Although the headset works across all platforms, It would be nice if the software worked on Mac and consoles as well to be able to take advantage of all of it's features. Overall this headset is great. For me, comfort and battery life is key and the Quantum 600's deliver both. What's also great is that the Quantum 600's are part of an entire line of Quantum gaming headsets. So if there is a certain feature or price range you are looking for, JBL probably offers it in a very comfortable headset model. Be sure to check out the Quantum Connectivity Overview chart on JBL's site to see what model is best for you as the range of Quantum headsets all offer something a bit different. I am very happy with the new Quantum 600 gaming headset I recieved. It will certainly get many many more hours of use.

Why not have the ability for the microphone to be rotated to the right side and left side? Why did the buttons feel low quality? The headset comes with a wireless adapter to be connected to your computer to use the headset. The experience with the wireless adapter was just as good as playing with a cable connected to it. No disconnect issues with the wireless adapter nor any issues or loss of voice or sounds while connected with the cable or wirelessly. The battery life of the headset lasted over 8 hours on one charge of gameplay wirelessly. I would recommend headset for anyone looking for a value priced headset. Even though I believe the buttons were made low quality I would prefer JBL continue to increase the quality of sound and flexibility before worrying about cosmetic.
