Love that this whisk doesn't take up any room in a drawer but twists open so easily for use. Used it to finish off a dessert when we had friends over and everyone commented on it, asked where I bought it and then went out and bought for themselves. I have since bought it as a gift a few times and everyone loves it!

I'm always on the look out for nylon flat whisks for making things like bechamel sauces as a balloon whisk doesn't seem to get properly into the corners of a pan. This is the nearest thing I've been able to find in a few years. Over engineered for my needs but it does the job!It works well, feels study and like it will last. I was a little concerned about hygiene and food getting trapped in the twist mechanism, but this doesn't seem to have been an issue so far. It has been through the dishwasher numerous times and still looks like new. Convenient for storage as it lies flat.

But when opened it has a tendency to want to close up again unless you hold it right, and has limited number of whisk prongs, so if you do a lot of whisking the fixed type probably better. But if all you are doing is making the occasional omelette it is a great space saver.

Long lasting and perfect for many cooking and baking tasks! Received my first one many years ago as a gift and used it several times weekly since then. Only now have had to replace it and bought an extra to pass on the joy! Great workmanship and quality. Highly recommended!
I have always struggled with storing whisks because the get all bent out of shape so when I saw this design (and also needed a flat whisk to replace a broken one), I had to give it a try. The whisk does not disappoint . . . it is easy to twist and much easier to store. It also feels great in your hand. Another awesome design!
I have a small flat and even smaller kitchen, so the idea of a whisk that can be used flat and folds away in a drawer seemed great. Unfortunately, it's too flimsy to stand up to thick mixtures and literally came apart - the whisk blades came away from the handle.I binned it and went back to a traditional-style (coated) steel whisk.
I liked the concept of being able to store the whisk flat in a drawer but I'm not too sure how robust the whisk will be in operation. Having used it four times since purchasing it, the twist mechanism is quite slack and the movement of whisking makes the handle turn round and instead of the balloon whisk it becomes the blending whisk. I purchased an additional whisk for my son and he has experienced the same problem when whisking eggs. Unsure if this a design fault or I was just unlucky with the ones I purchased. It's quite an expensive product that hasn't really lived up to expectations which is disappointing for a Joseph Joseph product; I wouldn't recommend.
Have used this both as a whisk and blender. The tool is comfortable to use and I achieve perfect results each time. I have a small kitchen and space is limited; to be able to store the whisk flat is an added advantage. I certainly appreciate the easy way it dismantles for cleaning. It's a typical Joseph Joseph item combining practicality, use and pleasing appearance. I would encourage anyone looking for kitchen equipment to visit the shop or site.
Very clever design which saves plenty of space in the drawer. The handle is very comfortable to hold and the twist action to flatten the whisk seems durable; I am sure it will last as it is the usual Joseph Joseph extraordinary quality.Highly recommend to save space in your drawer and to stop having to battle the whisk being tied up with the chopsticks, skewers and everything else!!!
This whisk is a great addition to my camper. I can now whisk batter for pikelets, eggs etc. while camping. The best thing is it folds flat to make it easy to fit in camper drawer.Can also be used to mix while folded flat which makes it pass our '2 uses' for every item we take camping!!!
