This is the perfect accessory for your kamado joe. Doesn’t matter if you’re cooking waygu, eggs, fish, etc this is the perfect tool. The griddle might just be my favorite attachment and that’s saying something. Its also so easy to clean!

I like the option of using this to avoid the loss of juices and it is high quality. My main critique is that because there is no lip on one side, you can lose juices out that side. I put butter on the griddle and it just slid right off into the fire since my grill isn’t perfectly level (which many are not). It could also used improved care instructions to describe in more detail how to care for and store (including temp) the griddle on an ongoing basis for those that don’t work with cast iron often.

I purchased this to use with a current grill, BEST INVESTMENT EVER, also use it on my gas stove for my steaks, some seafood. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to try it out on the KamadoJoe….A girl can dream….until then, I’ll keep cooking away on it.
I'm not 100% certain if I'm using it correctly, there are almost no details about which accessories work together. I have a fitment issue when used with my "divide and conquer". It doesn't sit "flat" and I certainly wasn't expecting to lose food to the fire box while sauteing.
Already had one half . But bought the second one to have great sized area for doing a full breakfast or several tacos in one go.
The half moon great has been my go-to accessory since I purchased my Big Joe II. This versatile, durable and highly effective planche is perfect for burgers, veggies, salmon and any other thing you can throw at it!
My wife got me this for my birthday and I've used it more than any other accessory. I've now made perfect Smashburgers and the 'best Pork Chops' my wife has ever had. It's great!
Already developing rust spots before first use on the flat side. Went to go cook salmon on it for the first time and disappointed to see rust before i ever got started with it. As expensive as Kamado Joe accessories are I expect better quality.
This is so versatile. I’ve used it for perfect steaks, smash burgers, scallops, and more! Love the design of the half moon because it works great with the other accessories.
