I took a while to decide on this particular Kenwood standing mixer but, now that I have been using it nearly every day for a few weeks, I am so glad I purchased it. It is high quality and everything I hoped for. I was a little concerned it might be too big for a domestic kitchen but I am very happy with the size. Definitely worth the money.

Very pleased with this mixer. Strong motorand scale and warming features save time and effort in the kitchen. If you have the cash, add some of the accessories. I did, and find they work very well and have enabled me to regift some of my other appliances. So - also a safe saver. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I can’t get a colander/sieve accessory - any chance of developing one, Kenwood?

I bought this as an upgrade to my trusty Kenwood chefette and it is amazing, it is so robust and strong and makes light work of all manner of large batch mixes. The weigh feature is so useful and I cannot imagine life without it now, and I have also used the heating feature many times. I have used the machine for small amounts too (e.g. whisking one egg white) with no problems. I was procrastinating for a while before purchasing because of the hefty price tag but am thrilled with my purchase, so well designed. Extra touches like the light make such a difference.
The mixer I got was dead on arrival - didn't work at all, with Error 49 displayed on the screen, beeps and a flashing light. Galaxus quickly sent a replacement, which immediately showed the same error and didn't work either. For this price, I expected it to work flawlessly. It's easy to understand what quality checks are worth these days.One star - does not work, a waste of time and effort.
Amazing. I love it. Love the 2 sizes of bowls. Love the beaters. Only made frosting so far but cant wait to try meringue and marshamllows.
Not as intuitive as I thought it would be. However once mastered the machine is a real boon. I especially like the proving function as it saves removing the dough from the bowl and finding a suitably warm place in the house to prove bread. The two bowls are also very useful. A good upgrade from the Titanium chef I already own.
Bought this a month ago. The first time I used it, illuminating light would not turn off even when 'off' was selected. Emailed Lakeland straightaway. Several days later, Lakeland replied & asked me to contact Kenwood. Kenwood said I should get back to Lakeland. Emailed Lakeland back twice & heard nothing for over 2 weeks. Used it 2nd time today (Xmas Eve) & it's stopped working completely with a faulty code of E49. Phoned Kenwood who told me to get a refund from Lakeland. Phoned Lakeland who promised a refund, which I've now received. I've now bought a different mixer and am very happy with it
Easy to use, powerful mixer. I made double batch cakes and kneaded enriched dough and the mixer handled it with ease and was steady on the countertop. The heating element makes it easy to melt butter/warm ingredients straight from the fridge. I no longer have to remember to take them out to come to room temperature in advance. Very happy with my purchase.

Then this is the mixer for you… hands down the BEST appliance ever (even my thermomix comes in 2nd place to it!) it’s so user friendly, has a huge mixing bowl and the functions allow you to do pretty much everything. If you like making cakes, then the Swiss meringue buttercream function will have you at hello. Cannot rate this mixer high enough. 10/10 and more!
