I don't know if there's something wrong with my bottle or something about my hair that doesn't work with this product or what, but I was extremely disappointed in it. I got the rose gold, thinking it would put a nice light pink color in the lightened portions of my hair (I knew it would have no impact on the portions that are still my natural color, which is a dark brown). The lightened sections should be light enough for the color to be visible, and based on the color examples given on the back of the bottle I was expecting to feel like the color was TOO intense. Instead, after two applications, there is barely any pink color in my hair at all. For the first application I saturated my hair with water as directed on the bottle and left the product in for 20 minutes. ... I just now tried this in Onyx to refresh my Unnatural Jet Black hair dye. I wasn't expecting it to totally coat my roots, all I wanted was a quick One And Done to keep the black strong between Salon visits while also cleaning and conditioning. It definitely doesn't completely coat my roots (my hair is naturally a Mid-Dark Brown), and it would take multiple applications, but by that point you may as well just get regular hair dye. The black on my already dyed hair is definitely more Bold again, and I like that it's an Unnatural Blue-Black instead of a natural black. I don't recommend this for a First Time hair dye given how long it would take, but to refresh hair you already got professionally colored this is a good little maintenance wash. I've been coloring my hair red/auburn for the past 13+ years, have recently started leaning more towards the copper tones. If you've ever put red in your hair, you know how quickly it fades... I use this product as a weekly refresh to keep my color bright. After cleansing, I take the Copper shade and mix it about 50/50 with my B****o deep conditioning mask, leaving it on for about 10 minutes. It doesn't diminish the moisturizing/conditioning effect of the mask, but still brightness my color noticeably. And when mixed together, I have no issues with staining of skin.I can't speak to the cleansing power of the clendtioner, because I have not used it for that purpose. I've also not used it on its own as a conditioner; however, it does play well with other ... On my 3rd bottle and 2 were defective so i just pour into my hand and distribute. I use it once a week so the bottle does last & for the results it yields, I feel it is worth every penny. So for every lady of a certain age thinking of going natural, this stuff does wonders for the color and quality of your hair. Wish I knew of this sooner.

Basically no color took to the bottom of my hair but the top of my head was neon pink! It was so bad, but I decided to try it again since I had forgotten to use my hairbrush in the shower that day. Every time after that I will wash my hair first, ring my hair out to where it is still wet but will not be so wet that it will not absorb ... I have naturally espresso hair and recently went to the hair stylist to get my hair from light brown back to espresso. She dyed my hair and the color stuck for a couple weeks but since faded. I was worried since most of my hair had faded back into a medium brown so I bought some of the espresso color. I put it on my hair dry and used about half the bottle (I have waist length, very thick and wavy hair texture and I'm white for context). I let it soak in for about 30 minutes under a plastic bag while I sat in the bath, then showered and washed it out. Gonna be honest when I saw the purple and then green going down ... My hair stylist filled my hair and then glossed it but I cannot afford to be getting it glossed as often as she recommended. The copper color of this is amazing! I will say though it does very little for my darker roots that are growing in but it brightens up the ends that have been filled beautifully. I also love that this is one step. I don't use regular shampoo or conditioner when I use this, it cleans, colors, and conditions all in one. All that said the packaging is AWFUL I have bought 3 bottles at this point and the pump has not worked on a single one. Um, just like you'd expect conditioner to clean your scalp and hair. I use it but since I only shampoo every three days I want that creepy stank from scalp oil to not be on me. It's there. No... so I have to cheat by adding some of my other purple shampoo (no alcohol or other bad chemicals in it) to get a real clean experience. I use it alone every other time I shampoo and then I add enough of my other purple stuff on the alternating days to get rid of the scalp stank. I do not have oily scalp either. I don't even know how people with an oily skin condition would feel about this product. Would I recommend? Yes. But I would add my own experience just to get feedback from others.Good thing is the bottle takes up almost no space in the shower and the pump wasn't stubborn!😂
On the recommendation of a friend, I tried this product and it's fantastic.1. My hair is super processed already. Product gives me more of the color I want (silver) without damaging it further and helps keep it soft. (We're talking 15+ years of processing under various colors and someone too lazy to deep condition regularly.)2. As an athlete, I wash my hair daily. Sometimes twice a day. The above point still holds. Do I supplement with a leave-in product? Sure, but sometimes, I'm too tired for that, and my hair still holds up well.3. It smells good...and I actively search for fragrance-free body-washes / soaps. I was nervous for any repeated use of anything with the purple tint (purple shampoos are drying), but...I wanted to keep my new ashy blonde / silver.Not only does this enhance my pigment, my stylist ASKED me to start using it again when I started to get lazy about maintaining color. She'd never heard of the product before and she's continually surprised how long I can go between toners and etc.Moreover, I'm an athlete. Most days, I have to shampoo my hair at least once a day. (Yes, at least.) I'm also in a high-contact sport -- that means lots of sweating (mine and others', so cute) and lots of worry I may smear pigment on another person / their clothing (let alone mine). At least when it comes to the silver, IT DOES NOT BLEED.Also, for those of us sensitive / picky about scents (I can't stand Moroccan oil)...this smells good without being over-powering. I don't use perfume and often get actively angry being stuck in rooms with people who wear it (it can make me physically ill, too). I'll pay extra for the fragrance-free body-washes, I'll admit it. Sensitive sniffers should be fine -- barring, of course, any known allergies. As someone with sensitive skin, however, I've been fine even with 1-2 washes a day. (Pantene 2-in-1 gave my horrible dry, itchy neck skin for weeks after less than a week of use...and 2-in-1 should tell you how much effort I really like putting into my beauty regime.)Bottom line: if you want low-maintenance color with minimum risk to your skin (again, idk your allergies), this is what you want.
