Kerastase Resistance Extentioniste Thermique 150 ml

For reference to assist with my review: my hair is 2c, prone to dryness at the ends along with split ends. It is untreated virgin hair. Typically I either air dry or blow dry my hair out using a hot brush. My initial application was very promising! I applied it to slightly damp hair and proceeded to blow dry as usual and immediately I noticed a difference in my hair texture. It was so soft and smooth. This texture remained until my next wash day as well. It also smells very good! The scent isn't exceptionally heavy but is delicate and beautiful.My uses after this have been pretty much the same, with slight variances as to when I apply. I received this product from BzzAgent to try and give my honest review. My hair is blonde, color treated and damaged due to years of heat styling and coloring. This leave-in cream is very easy to use and only takes a small amount. The product smells amazing and is surprisingly very light weight. I liked that the Leave-In Treatment doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy in any way. It does not leave any sticky residue. I absolutely love that this product protects against the heat styling and also helps with split ends. I'm very excited that BzzAgent gave me the opportunity to try this Heat Protecting Leave-In Treatment.

I am so very impressed with this treatment. I can't believe how well it worked and how healthy my hair looks! To begin, I have type 4B (very curly) hair naturally, and I use heat tools on it often to straighten it. My hair is about 3/4 the length of my back, and it's fairly thin. So, it's easy to imagine how easily the ends become dry and damaged. Now, don't get me wrong; there are many decent heat protecting treatments out there. But they always fall short somehow. Most leave my hair feeling unnatural and untouchable and make my hair oily. Not this one. This one smells great, applies easily, leaves no yucky residue or feel, and only requires the smallest amount to get the job done! Interesting product

I was surprised how well this product works as a heat protectant and a detangler! I have super long thick hair. My hair goes down to the tops of my thighs. I wear it in a simple ponytail most of the time. As a result I tend to get breakage and tangles around my neck where the band goes. I'm also not the most patient when brushing my hair out and tend to do so too quickly causing split ends. The first time I used this I put a quarter sized dollop into my hands, rubbed it together and rubbed it through all of my hair. It smelled amazing but left it looking dull and oily by itself. I quickly ran a straightener through it and it made all the difference. My hair had such a healthy sheen to it! I got this Kerastase Resistance Heat Protecting Leave-In Treatment from BzzAgent in exchange for my opinions. This stuff is great. I applied to the middle and ends of my hair and massaged it in after washing my hair. My hair was damp but not soaking wet. Then I blow dried my hair upside down. Usually blow drying my hair makes it a little frizzy and my split ends definitely show. This made my hair look silky soft and not frizzy or splitting. It was nice. My hair looked smooth and shiny and soft and not like I totally needed another trim because of my split ends. I kinda did not really expect to see much of a difference, but I did. It also is a great consistency and formula. Directions for application were a bit vague - says to use a walnut size amount - this seems appropriate for all my hair but I think it would be too much for someone with less hair. I applied with my hands and then combed it through. This product feels light when applied and never made my hair feel sticky or greasy. The scent is…not my favorite. But, at least it’s a fairly light scent and it did seem to dissipate as I dried my hair. Speaking of drying - I prefer a thermal protectant that speeds up dry time - this product definitely doesn’t do that. Makes the hair shiny and smooth

I have damaged and dry hair and my biggest concern is split ends along with frizzy hair. I used this product on both wet and dry hair and I felt like this helped seal my split ends while giving my hair shine and a smooth look. Since I am trying to repair my damaged hair, I don't use styling tools daily but I tried it out for Valentines day with my hair straightener and felt that it protected my hair from the heat. For daily use, I have been using a bit every other day from mid-length to the ends to keep them stronger and seal the split-ends.It is very light weight and has light fragrance which is quite pleasant. I enjoyed it but if you are sensitive to fragranced products, this might not be for you.I totally recommend trying it out.

I've always heard rave reviews regarding Kerastase products, and as someone with colour-damaged, frizzy hair I thought this would be worth the splurge. The cream is white and is easily absorbed into towel dried hair prior to blow drying and using your other heat tools. It has a mild, pleasant fragrance, however it doesn't really linger once absorbed into the hair.Unfortunately, I didn't really notice any difference to the overall condition of my hair, or after styling. It remained quite frizzy and still needed a lot of attention with my straightener. As it's the next level up in terms of the price point I was expecting greater things. If you are wanting to use this product without also using at least the extentioniste shampoo and conditioner, I would recommend using one of the other thermiques (keratin, nectar or ciment). If you are wanting to see improvement in length and health, and also use some of the other extentioniste products, I can honestly say this works. I have used this product for at least 8 months, but not in a complete routine until 4 months ago. I have thick, naturally curly hair which is cut in layers/highlighted every 8 weeks, and I typically blow dry straight with a round brush. I have seen improvement in overall health and shine, and recently, have seen exceptional increase in growth. I wash my hair with the extentioniste shampoo, towel dry, apply the extentioniste masque, and most recently steam my hair while using my facial steamer (10-15 min), massaging the hair and scalp. I then rinse, towel dry, apply the extentioniste serum, massage in, and then apply the extentioniste thermique (I may or may not blow dry at this point). This seems extensive, but I have noticed by doing this routine, I now only have to wash my hair (and do the process) on Sundays and Wednesdays, without any need for dry shampoo. 2020 was enough to make me realize this investment in myself is truly worth it—and is actually cheaper than the years of neglect and throwing fixes at my neglected hair (expecting miracles of my stylist every 8 weeks). I look great year round, and am protecting the investment I make every time I go to my stylist. This is the longest review I have ever written.
