Kerastase Resistance Fondant Extentioniste Conditioner 200 ml

Just started using this conditioner, and i love it! Yesterday i used Genesis shampoo, then Chorno shampoo, and then my cocktail of serums/leave ins and my hair was softer and shinier than ever! I often use the genesis/chrono shampoo but with different conditioners, i definitely recommend this one, my hair felt good! I know it's also helping to strengthen/rebuild my hair so i like that too.

Did not work for my long, fine hair

I have long and fine color treated hair with minimal damage. The smell is okay, almost like a beachy sunscreen scent, but I found it a little heavy and prone to build up. Does not provide detangling quite like other Kerastase conditioners that have been discontinued. Also left my hair with major static the next day. Please bring back Reflection Chromatique!

Love this line of hair care

This product line has done wonders for my hair. I was using Olaplex for months and wanted to love it but it just wasn’t doing anything for me. I found the Kérastase Extentioniste line by conducting a Google search and decided to try it. From the very first use I noticed a difference. My hair was much softer, and more manageable. I am also experiencing way less breakage. Parts of my hair that haven’t been growing have finally started to get longer. Love it.

My hair feels horrendous after shampooing

To be honest I love the way my hair feels when it's dry but this product, along with others I've ordered on this site, have made my hair very frizzy and extremely snarly after showering. You also have to use a lot of this serum in order to cover your ends. A lot of serum does not go very far. Slightly disappointed that I spent hundreds on these products for them to be sort of okay. I got sample packets of the clay shampoo and the baine force shampoo and those seemed much better on my hair. Will likely try those in the future.. maybe. Hope this helps!

Oily roots, dont use this

Shop assistant said i needed to not use protein in my hair. That this product helps grow hair long. Not true. Just made my roots oily and my hair hadn't grown any faster. I was told by my hairdresser its strange the assistant recommended this product as it actually contains protein. The brand is good quality but even brands like this can try sell gimmicks too. I think just stick to what you know and what works.

Resistance fondant exte

I loved the colour of the packaging! The fragrance is very subtle, and I found I didn't need as much as I normally use, I have long, coloured hair, I left it on for around 10 minutes (which I normally do with conditioners) and on rinsing off I found my hair felt very silky and smooth. Once dry, I could tell straight away the difference it made to my hair, it was so soft and shiny! Now bearing in mind my hair is pretty damaged due to colouring, this was straight away a win win for me. So much so I ordered some within a couple of days! Oh, and my hair stayed straight for at least 3 days longer than it normally does. Brilliant product.

The Masque is Better for My Hair

I used to use this conditioner with the accompanying shampoo and thermique, but really wasn’t impressed. My hair looked dry on the ends. I swapped this product for the extentioniste masque, and I am seeing the results I want. Perhaps my hair will get to the point that I can “back down” to this product and use the masque periodically, but for now it is not for me. I have used this product for at least 4 months, but switched full time to the masque four months ago. I have thick, naturally curly hair which is cut in layers/highlighted every 8 weeks, and I typically blow dry straight with a round brush. Since switching my routine and product, I have seen improvement in overall health and shine, and recently, have seen exceptional increase in growth. I then rinse, towel dry, apply the extentioniste serum, massage in, and then apply the extentioniste thermique (I may or may not blow dry at this point). This seems extensive, but I have noticed by doing this routine, I now only have to wash my hair (and do the process) on Sundays and Wednesdays, without any need for dry shampoo. 2020 was enough to make me realize this investment in myself is truly worth it—and is actually cheaper than the years of neglect and throwing fixes at my neglected hair (expecting miracles of my stylist every 8 weeks). I look great year round, and am protecting the investment I make every time I go to my stylist. This is the longest review I have ever written.

Too soon to tell

I tried this after receiving a sample from Sephora of the shampoo and conditioner from the nutritive line (which I loved). This line also works but I think I liked the nutritive better (hence the 4-star rating). However, I’ve only used the shampoo and conditioner once, so time will tell if it improves with use. Overall, these products leave my hair sleek and smooth. They make my wash and blow out last longer than with other shampoo and conditioners.

Worked in 1x wash!

Though I would say my porosity is normal, it's actually low and the regimine stated for my hair type wasn't the best. Still had to get up and dressed, however, so the resulting damage had my ends less than praise worthy, especially for the amount of time put in. Enter extentioniste! It stopped the tiny breakage that was slowing my overall growth and helped my hair return to its once upon a time state when I was young, spent my summers in the sun and yet somehow suffered no tiny pieces of hair ends on my hands if I put my hair in a bun! The smell of the product is strong for those who enjoy a fresh scent, but does not linger long in 4c hair, or, at the least, its not so strong that I can smell it all the way in my fro (unlike some I don't have hair in my face or laying on my neck, so for some with a more interpersonal hair type that sways and bounces into their face this may no be true). The conditioner is the most well crafted in my opinion and never over hardens the hair, as some such product can if accidently left in too long or chosen for an improper hair type or condition. The shampoo is very sudsy and offers an auxiliary strengthening that compliments the conditioner, but can leave the hair a little stiff if you really rub your shampoo in or wash 2x for a clean scalp. The serum is cooling to the scalp and made a difference in the comfort of my dry scalp. The applicator worked well for overall application, but was not the best for tight coily hair...the rounded tip felp good on the scalp but was too wide to get a good precision drop in a part of hair that fights back..if you know, you know. But for the average girl who can part her hair and have it stay, this should pose no problem. The conditioner is lasting forever despite heavy, coily/curly use, but the shampoo seems to be flying I'm running through it so fast, which I usually have experienced in opposite. Still, if it works it works! And this product works! I use 2x a week and now experience no tiny little breaks on my ends. After a month, I can see the length difference in my hair. Also, this product moisturizes but will not shrink your hair. So if manual elongation is a goal, ie a braid out, it will help you not to wrestle so much on wash day to sport your stretched look. I do not blow dry, so I cannot say if this will affect any moisture loss.

I am not crazy about this conditioner which is crazy to me cause I love all things Kerastase!! I have tried them all and love them all but not this product. I started noticing soon after I purchased this that my hair became a mess. My hair started to shed so bad and honestly at first I didn’t think it was this product at all. I had switched birth control pills and I was blaming that. I am talking hair everywhere!! I would brush my hair with my wet brush and there would be a bunch of hair in my brush something that had never happened. When I would wash my hair strands would be all over my hands . My husband even noticed all my hair being everywhere. It’s been a bit now since I quit using this and I am not shedding hair. I read on Sephora reviews for the shampoo for this that people were talking about losing there hair with the shampoo. Also wanted to note that this conditioner seem to make my fine hair tangle really bad and did nothing for moisture on the hair in fact it seemed to make my hair way more dry as well as created a bunch of knots and the static in my hair was awful which I saw another reviewer stating that as well. The smell is amazing but that’s as far as it goes.
