Kerastase Specifique Bain Divalent Shampoo 250ml

ave found that my hair has thinned out considerably. My hair used to be very thick and I could go a whole week without washing it. Now, going 3-4 days is a struggle and requires lots of dry shampoo. This shampoo is absolutely amazing! My hair feels so clean and the ends are still nourished and not dry. Since using this, I’m now able to go 5+ days in between washes because it keeps my roots clean and prevents them from getting oily too quickly. I could not be happier with this shampoo! Also, because it doesn’t have it’s own specific conditioner I pair it with the ‘Volumifique Gelée’ conditioner which is a gel consistency and really lightweight. This is a one of the best shampoo's I have ever used for oily scalp and oily hair. Typically if I use a shampoo to treat my oily hair it makes my hair super dry or the oiliness comes back after a day or two but this was just amazing. After washing with this shampoo my hair is definitely is cleaner and smoother and requiring less and less to wash so often. The fragrance is divine as well. I loved this shampoo and will continue to use it. My hair is definitely requiring a lot less washing off which is all very nourishing for my hair.

Doesn’t lather

I bought this a few months ago at the salon, switching from the orange one as my hair healed from roaccutane and began to recover its natural oils. I’m generally a huge fan of kerastase (it completely changed my hair!) but not this product. This shampoo is comparatively disappointing. It doesn’t lather at all unless you use a huge amount and hasn’t made an impact on my oily hair! I’m used to using a 10c size dollop of shampoo (being a poor uni student) but find I have to use massive amounts for it to reach beyond my scalp. Very disappointing for price.

It may not cure oily hair, but it helps!

Kay, so I began to see this product listed everywhere and finally tried it on my long, oil-factory hair- while I wasn't immediately blown away, it really made a difference a few weeks in! I can now go three to four days without washing with some help from dry shampoo, and my hair looks and feels healthier and softer. The ends especially make a difference, they feel hydrated rather than stripped and frizzed out.So it doesn't kill the grease, I don't know if any shampoo can. But it's the shampoo you want if you're trying to 'train' your hair to go longer without getting crazy oily. I used it with the Kérastase Lait Vital conditioner, which is super lightweight.The true test will be the greasy city summer though. Pray for me.

Lets me go days without washing. I love it!

I've used this shampoo for a month now and it's incredible. I will say I didn't have super oily hair to begin with, but I was prone to product buildup which weighed my hair down and gave it a greasy feel. This shampoo cleans my scalp beautifully and lets me go a solid four to five days without washing, and it still looks great. I have naturally wavy and somewhat coarse hair. My sister didn't like it at all though so it seems to be a hit or miss product for a lot of people. Definitely a hit for me and I will repurchase!

Not great for oily hair

Purchased this shampoo, along with two other recommended products (as displayed in the video) back in November of '22. It is now March of '23 and I have been using these three products as recommended.I have fine and oily hair. Although the products smell amazing and are beautifully packaged, they did not fix my oily root problem. I still have to wash my hair every day, and on the second day, I can see and feel the oil in the roots. I know it would not be a total fix, but I was expecting to get at least some results (I was hoping for good enough results to skip washing my hair everyday to every other day). This shampoo ruined my hair completely. I happened to not buy the full routine and instead used my own hydrating products - which are high-end brands too - and this shampoo burnt my hair ends to a degree that it’s even hard to brush after wash, and I’m losing twice as much hair every time I comb it! This only after 3 uses, and the damage is permanent. I reached out to Customer Service and they simply don’t care. I found their response appalling, they said it was my fault because I didn’t use the mask that’s part of the same routine, but at no point to they offer you any form of compensation. They will thank for your feedback till the end, leaving you with no choice but to spend another $150 in products to repair the damage. Shocking results for a $50 shampoo.
