Kerastase Genesis Bain Nutri-Fortifiant Shampoo 250ml

It is no secret that I love me some kerastase products. Since I started using this brand, my hair has changed so much, for good. I currently use the Nutritive line, BUT I got this as mini samples, and have been using them. The genesis lime is designed to help with hair fall due to breakage and brushing. They have the shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and scalp serum. I have been using their serum since August and IT DOES HELP WITH HAIR FALL. the shampoo and conditioner are no exception. Not only I noticed less hair fall, but I also noticed new hair growth. This line works wonders for those battling with hair loss. Please be aware that this is only a supplement to help aliviate the symptoms and is not a solution for a more serious condition causing hair loss. I am only talking from experience. I've notice that hair growth when I looked at a picture from August 2022, where you could see noticeable hair loss on the sides of my forehead, because I used to put my hair up, very tightly. And it loom like I was almost balding. Now, is all new hair growth.

A nice switch-up to my routine!

I received this product to try as part of a promotional campaign and was immensely excited as I have long dealt with thinning hair in my mid-twenties. Off the bat, the set smelled incredible and was so easy to use. I use the set twice a week as my hair type is closer to 2C/3C and I have been taking swim lessons twice a week so I wash my hair after to get rid of the chlorine.The shampoo lathers so well but doesn't feel stripped of my hair's natural oils. The conditioner feels as though it does help to soften my hair. The only product that I haven't loved for my hair is the serum as it does contain alcohol and does make my hair feel a bit strange. Absolutely Amazing for Oily Hair!

Kerastase's Genesis Strengthening Shampoo is absolutely amazing! The shampoo smells bright, invigorating, and simply beautiful. It's a very rich, creamy daily shampoo that strengthens weakened hair and deeply moisturizes it while also removing scalp buildup. This shampoo is great for damage/split ends/breakage, oily scalp, and thinning. After using this shampoo, my hair feels very clean and moisturized without feeling "stripped". My hair was easy to detangle and it feels so much stronger and much healthier. I would absolutely recommend this shampoo to anyone looking to strengthen their hair! Amazing product for my fine, highlighted hair!

I started using this shampoo 3 weeks ago in conjunction with the Kerastase Genesis Conditioner and Kerastase Strengthening Serum. First off, the smell is amazing. It turns my shower into a high end salon with a subtle, sophisticated scent. I have fine, thin hair and I have found this to really strengthen my hair is a very short period of time. The shampoo and conditioner give my hair shine and volume and bounce! I shampoo every 3rd day and am surprised that I don't even have to use dry shampoo on my third day! Did not work at all for me

I've been experiencing hair breakage since having my baby so I was in desperate need of a shampoo and conditioner that could help with the breakage. I spent hours doing research and landed on this line by Keratase. I've been using the shampoo, conditioner and hair protector for ONE year (I would say that's giving a product a real shot) and it literally has done NOTHING, literally not one positive thing for my hair. My hair looks the same as it did when I started using these products and just for some added context, I wash my hair only twice a week and limit the amount of hair tools I use so its not that I abuse my hair. I would not spend your money on this product especially for those mamas dealing with postpartam hair damage. I take medication which makes me shed hair more easily which I need to continue taking. I tried this range when it was first released with mixed results. My hair is fine, coloured and greying. When using the shampoo and conditioner it seems the range fluffs the cuticle probably to add the appearance of volume in the event of thinning hair. I actually need something more smoothing and moisturising having wavy bleached hair from a full head of balayage on dark brunette with a tendency to frizz. HOWEVER it does stop fall out, I persevered with a noticeable difference after 3 months. I just switched out the conditioner. I now use the shampoo only on my roots and scalp then follow mid lengths and ends with my normal Kerestasse discipline range. Every 3 or 4 washes I switch it out for a scalp cleanse with Bain Divalent (green one) to reduce build up though, important for those who suffer with hair loss. Good product overall with a reasonable price point as many anti loss hair ranges are silly money, some may not like the smell though as it’s very sweet. Mines a repeat purchase and I would recommend giving it a go but might just need to tweak the regimen a bit to suit hair type.

I found my forever shampoo!

My salon used this shampoo and conditioner during my last visit--but I had no idea what product they used. I walked out with wet hair (in a rush) and then dried and styled my hair at home. Wow! My long-ish straight hair has never looked better. It was incredibly soft and sleek looking, but more important, soft to the touch--"soft" is something I would never describe my hair as. (Looks good, but never soft.) It was transformed after one use, and I almost couldn't stop touching it. My hair also had body, specifically at the roots. I immediately texted my stylist to see if she could find out what shampoo/conditioner was used. And it was Genesis. Of course, I went online to order! I assumed it was the formula for dry hair vs. oily. I'm often looking for products that help soften and add shine, and I try to use "bonding" hair products to help strengthen my hair. I try to only shampoo a couple times a week since my hair gets dry if I shampoo more often.My thoughts on this Kerastase shampoo and conditioner set: So I do like how the product looks, it is really attractive. The bottles look classy and I love the soft pink color! However, I really do not like the screw -top caps. It's annoying, and I would much prefer a flip-top cap or a pump. Just a little annoyance, for me personally. The smell, I also do not care for the fragrance. Love the results

But then my hairdresser washed my hair with it and conditioned with Oribe Goldlust masque and I was shocked at my hair. My hair felt soft, clean and was so bouncy. I dug my bottle out of my shampoo graveyard and began using it every time I washed. I realized that first of all, I had been washing my hair wrong and that was likely contributing to the poor results. I used scrub my scalp and my hair, but now I focus on the roots/scalp and gently slid the lather down my lengths. Huge difference. I cannot express how much this shampoo changed my hair. In 2020-2021, I hit a terrible mental break and stopped maintaining my hair besides the rare trim. I used selsum blu shampoo religiously. Finally one winter day I went out after showering and my wet hair froze. i jokingly went to snap it and my hair was so damaged, thin, and broken that i actually broke my frozen hair off in my hands. my hair was stringy and oily, dull, frizzy, genuinely terrible. it could stand up on its own like a broomstick. i knew i had to change because self care makes me feel more confident and i hoped that fixing my hair would help me break out of the mental slump i was in. Less fall out, barely any breakage, shiny and bright, not frizzy… it even helped me transition from washing every night to every three nights because it controlled my oil so well. about 6 months ago i switched to a cheaper shampoo because i just figured that the reason my hair became so much healthier was because i stopped using Selsum Blue, not because I started using Genesis. Was i wrong. I tried another decent quality brand (nexxus) and my hair started looking terrible. I switched to another expensive brand (biolage) and it still didn’t look good; it became dull and the breakage started again like it did in the past and my hair fall when brushing got much worse. yesterday i bit the expensive bullet and repurchased this shampoo in hopes it would return my hair to how it was before i switched. after ONE WASH my hair is back to how it was when using Genesis for a year. When i was using this consistently, people would literally stop me and compliment my hair. I am so happy that I repurchased this yesterday. The difference really is that noticeable. If you’re experiencing anything like I was, just buy it.
