Midnight Recovery Concentrate night serum from Kiehsl is one of the brand's top bestsellers. Despite the high price, this tool has long and firmly entrenched in the status of one of the best night care products. I have been using this serum for a year and in this review I want to share my impressions and recommendations. Serum promises us two main actions - moisturizing and nutrition. The serum is sold in a dark blue matte cardboard box. Inside we find a glass bottle of the same shade, it is closed with a dark cap with a button (for a pipette). The cap is easily unscrewed and we see a neat glass pipette, from which the concentrate must be applied to the skin. The product has an oily texture, which is not surprising, knowing its composition. It is quite liquid, immediately after application forms an oily protection on the face, which is quickly absorbed without leaving any unpleasant sensations. In a little over a year of using this serum, I noticed: Definitely moisturizing and nourishing, the concentrate copes with the stated goals with a bang! Improvement of skin tone, in the morning the face looks fresh. Increase skin elasticity. Reduced sebum production! Lavender and geranium oils help to balance the production of sebum, that is, the skin develops its natural protective barrier, but there is no oily sheen during the day. I use this concentrate only during the cold seasons (autumn and winter), because. in summer I like lighter textures like gels and fluids However, this is definitely my recommendation!

I can't even begin to count or even remember how many different facial oils I have tried over 30+ years! But, I've ALWAYS wanted to try this particular oil, but honestly, I really didn't want to dish out the cash for it! First off, the 99% natural formula ingredients used are wonderful very beneficial for facial skin, also the scent doesn't bother my skin at all I do like naturally scented products, but definitely NOT artificially or heavily scented products! This formula smells absolutely divine, so smooth, light herbally, reminds me so much of my favorite, Tiger Grass/Cica/Centella Asiatica/Gotu Kola! It also deeply penetrates to deeply moisturize it doesn't leave my skin oily feeling, looking, I really love that! It sinks right in the next morning my skin looks terrific! Definitely trying it in a smaller size did help me determine whether or not I'd be purchasing it in a bigger size! I do enjoy it enough to purchase, but I will also wait until there's a sale or coupon I can use! I have so many other good ones here too, but this one does work smells great, so I do intend on purchasing a smaller size! A little goes a VERY long way with this concentrated oil, so it also lasts for a while too! I most definitely recommend giving this a try at least once!

I absolutely adore this midnight recovery concentrate. It is a luxurious oil that is perfect to be used on top of your night moisturiser or as a replacement after your serum. I love the aromatic lavender fragrance of the product, which is beautifully relaxing before bedtime. The product leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and well nourished and keeps my skin ultra moisturised all night. I feel it leaves my skin looking more natural, radiant and gives it an extra glow the next day after I’ve used it. The oil is easily absorbed into my skin and only a little of the concentrate goes a long way. The concentrate has a luxurious feel to it and it is definitely one of my favourite beauty products.

However, this concentrate is the one I like a lot. It sinks right into the skin, and you don't feel like frying an egg on your face afterwards. Kiehls is underrated in my humble opinion. I mean, it's been around for a hot minute so clearly, they are doing something right. The packaging on this product is stunning and it is worth the price point as you only need a few drops to pat into your face. I look stunning bare faced with this on which is like Jesus turning water into wine .... a miracle. Not putting myself down. Just stating facts. This product takes my pale, typically dry skin and elevates its natural beauty.
I literally never write a review but this is so raved about which is why i bought it and if i can save someone from that gimmick i will. So first of all, its super drying which is so weird since its an oil. But it literally sucked all of the moisture out of my skin, made me red and blotchy 24/7, caused breakouts on my entire face and just felt horrible on my skin. I wasnt able to afford a new cleanser til today and my dermatitis already feels and looks better, and the red blotchiness is completely gone. This oil absolutely ruined my skin after using for a few months. So happy to have my good oil - the Urban Hydration Rose Oil- it can be hard to find but it makes my skin thrive as soon as it touches- its smoothing and calms my redness and ive literally never had a ... So happy to have my good oil - the Urban Hydration Rose Oil- it can be hard to find but it makes my skin thrive as soon as it touches- its smoothing and calms my redness and ive literally never had a skincare product that worked so well for my skin. Im fair- so redness is an issue for me as well as dryness. The urban hydration fixes everything. Please if you need an oil - PASS THIS. I have never even had sensitive skin. But this product was the worst ive ever tried and thats saying something.Gave me a skin condition right on my face- super bright red disgustingly dry and flaky skin under my mouth, surrounded my mouth and even soread to my cheeks. I had to go to a doctor and get medication and ointment , i could not figure out the cause but this was it. It also burned and itched and embarrassed me really badly . Just pass. Find something else.
My skin is oily/combination and although this doesn't dry me out, it doesn't do a great deal for me either. The first actual oil in here is Rosehip, which is a 'dry' oil, followed by Jojoba which mimics sebum and good for oily/combination skin types as it helps regulate oil production. If you're sensitive and not leaning towards oily I would not recommend this product. Personally I haven't seen any changes good or bad. It goes on feeling oily, probably due to the Squalane but then vanishes quickly. I use 2 drops. I never believed in nice night time moisturizing routine until I tried the midnight recovery oil. I first tried it as a sample. I have combination/normal skin and winter always leaves my face feeling dry after showers. I wanted something that will help balance the natural oil on my face without getting too greasy. This is the perfect solution! I apply 2 to 3 drops on my finger tips and dap it onto my face. Smoothing it out feels like wiping my face with a piece of soft silk. It absorbed well and I can follow up with the midnight cloud cream. It's my favorite treat to myself after a day at work. The scent is mild and gives me a moment of relaxation. I am so glad I got this on a great deal. I highly recommend this to anyone. My husband actually tried it as well and ... I was thrilled to recv my big order, having saved up for months to buy, only to see things I did not order, in fact had never heard of, and the part of the delivery I'm returning is the midnight rejuvenating oil. I've used it for years. I opened it, and it had an odd odor, I put a lil on, and fragrance(?) had obviously spoiled. The texture was off, and did not feel or smell good. I washed my face and am returning it, along with most other items. When Loreal bought Kiehl's I had a foreboading of reformulation with cheaper fillers. First it was the reformulated wrinkle reducing cream. Used it for years, then suddenly I break out in a bad rash only where applied. Then the cranberry mask, now the midnight oil. Sad to say, I dont trust Kiehl's with my skin care needs any ... This oil is awesome as a last step in your night routine to seal everything in. I have very sensitive skin and I’ve always had plump skin in the morning after using. I use this instead of Tata Harper because although this product expensive, I cannot justify the price for TH. HOWEVER, I have heard numerous horror stories after some have used this. Essential oils is a pretty contentious topic in the skincare world as you know, and I’ve found it’s a huge hit or miss with some people. Definitely a product to spot test for about 4-5 days before going all in. Another thing to note is that this oil is very fragrant. It’s very woody smelling and I’m sure that would not be agreeable with some from a skin sensitivity and smell standpoint. Last thing to remember with this ... It’s very woody smelling and I’m sure that would not be agreeable with some from a skin sensitivity and smell standpoint. Last thing to remember with this product is I think some people may get irritation because of the order in which it is applied in their routine. I know people may disagree on this, but I’m just saying this is how it is conventionally used and if you use it a different way and it works for you, great! I’m mainly speaking to those experiencing irritation from this product. This is a last step product that goes over your moisturizer to seal in the hydrating serums, treatments, and moisturizer you’ve already applied. This is not a first step serum and a source of where you should get your moisture from.
Having oily skin since age 12, I always stayed away from anything that said "oil" in the name. Not realizing that face oil is different. Now that I have "mature" skin I am trying to hang on to a youthful appearance, which means hydration. Even if you have oily skin you need hydration. This stuff is so nice! It has a very natural, herbal kind of scent that quickly goes away after it absorbs into your skin. You don't need a lot as you work it into your skin. I pretend I'm getting a mini 30 sec facial and really take care to gently rub this oil into my face, neck and chest. It feels really nice on. I recommend putting it on 30 min. before bed so your skin has time to absorb it vs your pillow case. If I feel my skin needs a little more hydration than just this oil I put ...
