Kinesis is the market-leader in computer ergonomics and has been designing premium keyboards for more than 25 years. The award-winning Freestyle2 keyboard is perfect for those looking to increase their productivity or enhance their comfort, at home or in the office. The Freestyle2's unique split-adjustable design allows you to position the key modules at shoulder width or connect the included pivot tether to splay the key modules- choose the configuration that works best for your body type. Low-force, tactile keyswitches provide a satisfying typing experience and are very quiet. The Freestyle2 features an embedded numeric keypad for easy access to the 10-key. And since the Freestyle2 uses a standard key layout, there is no learning curve. The KB820 comes with our most popular VIP3 kit (palm supports and v-lifters) installed for your convenience. Adjust the tenting angle to 5, 10, or 15 degrees to reduces forearm tension. PC-specific driverless hotkeys support common shortcuts like cut/copy/paste, multimedia actions, calculator and much, much more.

Best keyboard for me. I can rest my arms on my chair and type at an appropriate angel.

Mounting hardware miss matched

The hangers themselves are pretty good but some of my ukes won't hang straight. The surprising issue was the mounting screws and wallboard anchors, they are miss matched. The anchors are much to large for the screws so they don't grip the screws or the wall.

Not quite what I was looking for

My original Kinesis finally stopped working after 7 years and was looking to replace it. We found the Kinesis freestyle 2 and immediately purchased. However upon its arrival if was the freestyle 2 for Mac. It works fine on the Dell however, it has a few keys that are specific for Mac. It also came with a palm rest and lifters. After working with the previous version the lifters were very uncomfortable. I would have purchased one of the other key boards that are split and lifted if i wanted the height. The palm rests are also a bit unnecessary. I am buying my second Freestyle keyboard. It's great, very adaptable.

Soft touch, quite quiet; Very happy.

Very soft touch which makes typing very nice and is quite quiet (compared to cherry MX Red, for example). Keyboard slopes up, which is not comfortable for me to type, so I have added a custom riser at the front. With that, it is a great keyboard.

Using this keyboard has helped so much with the recent shoulder pain I was having after using a regular keyboard. This is a plus!

Works how you'd expect

Was actually pretty easy to get used to. After about a day using it was just as fast as a normal keyboard. The position of the delete key and esc were probably the hardest to adjust to.
