This Bluetooth MIDI keyboard is easy to use straight out of the box, has surprisingly good latency, and despite its small keys provides a decent interface for recording and for undemanding live performance. It seems compatible with most iOS devices and music apps and it connects reliably and quickly. My only gripe is that the On/Off switch is tiny and looks rather fragile. Considering that the switch is needed every occasion the keyboard is used I’m hoping that it’s more robust than I imagine. The convenience of a wireless keyboard is great, and I’m glad I bought it.

Amazing midi controler, responsive, no delay-I was surprised! I could not connect it to my mac and IPad until I got the app "Bluetooth MIDI Connect" from the app store. After that, the fun begun! I made a track in the next 2 hours(in my bed)! No wires, the software from Korg is pretty good, but I have an IMac, Macbook pro , IPad, so this amazing toy comes very handy. Can make music in the air, long trips, even waiting for appointments. Great product for the price, even if you have other wired midi controlers(Komplete, Arturia, Akai, , etc) or analog synths. It's a great addition!

In the past, I have used a Casio keyboard and a Harmonium as an aid in understanding South Asian classical music. The Casio is not accurate and the Harmonium is bulky. Paired with GarageBand on my MacBook Pro, this keyboard remedies both issues. And the quality appears to be good. 37 keys are just right; 25 would have been more portable but less useful. I am glad I got the bluetooth version. I did have an issue in that the bluetooth required installing Bluetooth Midi Connect from Korg. This was incompatible with OS X Mavericks. I reluctantly risked updating to Sierra. Thankfully it all went well.

I got this because I wanted something I could carry around with me at all times for practice and unplanned jam sessions while on the go and it exceeded my expectations. The keys feel really good and comfortable to the point that this has also become my home studio controller as well as what I often use for rehearsing in various bands. Super easy to set up and go for ipad and computer and lightweight so I can avoid lugging around large high maintenance keyboards to smaller events without sacrificing quality. I have even put straps on it and used it as a keytar on occasion.
It is a great product. Connected to my Iphone or Ipad using the Bluetooth there is no perceptive delay, the response is very fast. I use a few apps to produce sounds and create music. Some of them: Garage Band, Music Studio, Korg Module Le and others. It is important to first download the app Bluetooth MIDI Connect (BLE-MIDI) to be able to connect the Keyboard using the BlueTooth. I have a few keyboards of different sizes (from nanokey, Microkey 25, 49 to full size). I enjoy this one because is very portable to travel or carry around with no need of extra cables to connect.
I bought this product with some concern because GC does not carry on stores... and I could not see before buying it. But, after watch several reviews I decide to go ahead with my purchase. The key is solid, reliable and it was a great improvement for me in terms of mobility. I travel sometimes and I found myself bored several times btw layovers and flight itself. This guy gives me the opportunity to play for hours and hours. I was impressed how far I can go away of my Ipad without connection issues... It is crazy. I can say that is latency free. At least was impossible to feel any kind of latency... And I am talking about BLUETOOTH connection. Back to the keybed... After a couple of minutes I was playing with no issues... and I was surprised that is also sensitive. ... MoreI bought this product with some concern because GC does not carry on stores... and I could not see before buying it. Now, I keep this in my home office all the time and I can produce or just practice if I need a break from my work. Very playable... Easy to connect... I got 37 keys that fits in any laptop bag... You can use as a Keytar as well in some performance. There are some DIY videos showing how to connect a guitar strap on this microkey. You can also add a pedal for damper/sustain or switch or whatever you want... you just need to configure in your daw pc/mac/tablet etc. You can also connect in your keyboard and use as a controller... so very flexible too.
The firmware hasn't been updated since 2016.It simply doesn't support iOS 14 or iPadOS 14.Special order, no return, COMPLETE and ABSOLUTE waste of time and money. Extremely expensive for a no-frills USB MIDI keyboard.
Well, when I say the best, there are not too many choices out there as far as Bluetooth keyboard controllers are concerned. This is the only BT keyboard controller that works with Windows right out of the box because Korg provides a free BLE-MIDI driver. The keyboard action is very good. The keys are not standard size, but very playable. I could not play on the shallow keyboard of the CME xKey Air and it's over-priced. I like the Korg Microkey series so much that I have 37, 49, 61. Good job, Korg.
I received this in the mail (very quickly I might add) and it has performed very well. There is no latency in key presses using bluetooth and the keys are a nice size for my hands. Works with my ipad pro in all my music apps (FL Studio Mobile, Cubasis, Beatmaker 3 etc.) and all my iPad synths.I also have a very small desk so the size is quite good however I think the 25 key controller would have been better for me in the long run. That was poor judgement on my part. For the price it's by far the best budget keyboard and it works really well with the iPad.
bh delivered it quickly. i needed the new bluetooth feature. works GREAT. the 5 octave version rocks, i wish korg made a microkey 88 key version. within a short distance, this could be someone's skinny keytar, but for me it just means i can trigger the killer organs and pianos in korg module and my imini app, which is an amazing minimoog sim, and i would know, long time moog fanatic. this keyboard and the imini gives you a minimoog, a polyphonic mini with programmable presets, that you can play on battery on the band bus. the microkey air runs on 2 AA batts, brilliant. key action is excellent and even. AND this time they gave us a sustain pedal input, which in korg module also lets you trigger the leslie effect! totally a great buy, worked perfect outta the box.
