I love this luxurious Serum- Lancome Genefique Ultimate. Using it for a week, my skin responded so well to this high quality concentrated repairing serum. My skin tone and light wrinkles were smoothing and honestly, I looked refreshed and glowing.It's hard to justify spending this much on a serum, but having seen the results, I'm now struggling to justify not using it on an ongoing basis.I am not a fan of the applicator, which is the plunger draw up, I find it difficult to control the amount I get out and not user friendly to people who like to get every drop out of their product. I like Lancome products, especially their make-up. I haven't tried a lot of their skincare so I was really excited to try this as I see it quite a lot. Unfortunately, I didn't see any improvements in fine lines or overall skin texture. I do think my skin feels more hydrated than it did before though. I imagine, as with most skincare products, you need to use it for longer to see results. I expect for the price that it must work, however, I can't say this after only a week of use. The product itself is really nice, it's very lightweight. A little goes a long way which I think could help justify the price of a full-size bottle for some people. I received a small 7ml tester of the Lancome Genifique Ultimate serum. I tried this serum for a week and overall I did not see a noticeable improvement. I did find that I used alot less product I would normally use when applying serum so I wouldn't run out of serum before the week's end, which potentially may have reduced the effects.It did provide hydration thanks to the beta glucan and it did feel a bit smoother and tighter.The serum didn't have an overwhelming smell, the texture of the serum was nice, it soaked in and didn't leave an oily, greasy or sticky residue.I didn't find it helped visibly with minimising my pores, redness, brightness or skin tone.Potentially longer use of the serum or using more generous amounts of serum may show significant ... MoreI received a small 7ml tester of the Lancome Genifique Ultimate serum.
