I recently started using this sleeping mask as a potential replacement for the sleep mask I have been using from Dr. Jart, I can tell Dr. jart changed their formula, and I'm not sure I'm still loving their product. This sleeping mask from laneige has a thick creamy consistency and slight fragrance to it. I have a sensitive nose and haven't found the fragrance overpowering at all. I have combination type skin, with dry patches due to psoriasis. Fortunately, I haven't had any bad reactions to the sleep mask, which is always a possibility with sensitive skin conditions and depends on the individual using the sleep mask. You could use this sleep mask for "slugging" instead of using vaseline over your moisturizer. A little product goes a long way! I also just used this ... MoreI recently started using this sleeping mask as a potential replacement for the sleep mask I have been using from Dr. Jart, I can tell Dr. jart changed their formula, and I'm not sure I'm still loving their product. I also just used this as my nighttime moisturizer instead of as the final step after moisturizer as directed. Doing this has worked perfectly for me. My face doesn't feel overly "greasy" and is just as moisturizing. This sleep mask leaves my skin very moisturized in the morning, which I'm very happy with. I'm not too sure about any changes to the amount of redness being reduced so far, but I will update if there's any noticeable difference. I have yet to decide if I will be using this to replace Dr. Jart sleep mask, but this is a very good alternative.

This is my first time trying the Laneige cica sleeping pack. I’ve been using the water sleeping pack for many years and I was an avid user and didn’t really want to try any of the other lines in the sleeping pack series, but I decided to try this one out because the color of the packaging caught my eye as well as the ingredients and the benefits that it has . The benefits include replenishing and moisturizing and has the ingredients of forrest yeast extract in it. And that caught my eye! I tried it the first night and I woke up to very smooth moisturized skin. I didn’t think that anything could beat the Laneige water sleeping pack but I was wrong. They both smell good and this one is probably now my favorite because of the fact that my skin just feels so smooth and I love the way it smells as well, and I will definitely continue to purchase again when I run out!

What you'd expect from Laniege as far as good quality, huge size, and a very thick cream.I have genetic redness as well as hormonal flush from Hashimoto's and am always looking for a way to settle my skin down.Tiger grass/Cica is an excellent ingredient to look for, and will help "cool your skin down".The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that the redness is only mildly toned down in the morning. However, it's a very thick, moisturizing cream that doesn't cause breakouts, speeds and absorbs well, and will last an eternity bc you need so little product.I like to mix it with a bit of The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid or Clinique Moisture Surge to ensure I have a deeply moisturizing sleep cream. However, if you like to wake up and only do steam/warm water to ... MoreWhat you'd expect from Laniege as far as good quality, huge size, and a very thick cream.I have genetic redness as well as hormonal flush from Hashimoto's and am always looking for a way to settle my skin down.Tiger grass/Cica is an excellent ingredient to look for, and will help "cool your skin down".The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that the redness is only mildly toned down in the morning. However, if you like to wake up and only do steam/warm water to rinse (to preserve your night products as a base), this transforms well and works under daytime make-up as well.Overall a really amazing cream, I think it just needs more Cica/Tiger Grass to be truly effective at the redness reduction. But don't hesitate overall. It's an amazing value.

Honestly, this is the most amazing and favorite thing I have on my shelf. After getting really bad acne from coconut products, I started prescription retinol and was flaking everywhere - I've tried all sorts of moisturizers from brands like skinfix and this is the only one that doesn't break me out at all and keeps me from cracking. The most amazing part is that it soothes my skin so much that when I wake up, my redness is all gone. One thing to keep in mind is that this moisturizer is extremely heavy, so if you are not using a-lot of actives or have oily skin I can see it breaking people out. Additionally, because it has almost a consistency of a salve, if you put it under makeup, the makeup can rub and smudge away really easily so please keep that in mind.
I live in a very dry part of the world (the Rocky Mountains) so I don’t mind telling you that trying to keep your skin moisturized here, especially in winter, is a Sisyphus-esque task. No matter how much, how often, or what kind of moisturizer I use, it’s never enough. I always wake up with dry, red skin and lots of fine lines.Until now.I have been using this for several days now and it’s made a remarkable difference. I wake up with soft, moisturized skin. Skin that glows. My redness is reduced when I use this as well. I have light rosacea and I flush easily. I’m also white like sour cream so it’s really obvious when I go red, even a little bit. This leaves my skin calm and clear in the morning and when I do flush, it’s noticeably less than usual.Pores appear ... MoreI live in a very dry part of the world (the Rocky Mountains) so I don’t mind telling you that trying to keep your skin moisturized here, especially in winter, is a Sisyphus-esque task. Everything about my skin is better. And the price is *chef kiss*. This is so reasonable. You get a nice big jar of it, you don’t need to apply much either. This is now a staple and I will be ordering this obsessively.
Looooove this sleeping mask. I did not like the water sleeping mask at all (the blue jar). That one was drying and didn't do anything at all for my skin. This one has a very soothing light herbal scent. The texture is not that heavy but just emollient enough to feel like it's nourishing my skin. I sometimes even use it as a daytime moisturizer. It really helps calm down inflammation. I apply this every night over the laneige cream skin toner. The quality of my skin is definitely improved even though it's winter and very dry.
I've been having to travel a lot recently and picked up a mini version of this as I've heard lots of praise of this brand coming from both locally and people who live in Korea. I like that this is not a super thick and greasy formula - it honestly is a lovely regular cream consistency - if it wasn't called a mask I would assume this is just a thinner consistency night cream. I would happily wear this during the day throughout the year as well as I have dry and sensitive skin. I love that this shows no signs of being greasy or making the skin feel suffocated like slugging with petroleum based products does, but does the job of being the barrier to everything attacking the skin. Each time I use this on top of my regular skincare routine, I do not need to use much at ... MoreI've been having to travel a lot recently and picked up a mini version of this as I've heard lots of praise of this brand coming from both locally and people who live in Korea. I would happily wear this during the day throughout the year as well as I have dry and sensitive skin. I love that this shows no signs of being greasy or making the skin feel suffocated like slugging with petroleum based products does, but does the job of being the barrier to everything attacking the skin. Each time I use this on top of my regular skincare routine, I do not need to use much at all to cover the face and neck as it spreads very well, and I can visibly see my irritated, flushed and disturbed skin go from bright pink to my normal skin color in mere minutes. I also feel the heat from my face reduce to a normal temperature shortly after applying it as well.So this is the perfect skin rescue as I was able to keep my skin from staying upset after the night with this on. I was able to wake up everyday to being able to prepare my skin for the battle of the day without any sign or feeling of my skin being angry at me despite the stress of travel, not eating well, wearing makeup all day, and having to wakeup super early (which always leaves my skin an inflamed mess by the end of the day).I also love using the F.A.B Arnica rescue pack, and the only sensorial difference is in the application experience as F.A.B is much more acutely cooling immediately upon application and spreads on a bit thicker. I love both equally, I just choose which feeling I want on my skin that night. I will be using this regularly and keep it in my bag for skin emergencies from now on. The hype for this brand may be about their lip masks, but they clearly know what they are doing for skin overall - highly impressed
I bought this just because I wanted to spend enough to get free shipping with my purchase so I'm really lucky that I ended up picking such a great product! The cica in it is super soothing and just leaves my skin feeling really plump overnight. I'm always a bit sceptical using sleeping masks because the ones I've used previously just didn't layer or blend in well when I put it at the end of my routine - but this product is so light that it doesn't weigh down or congest your skin, but it still hydrates and smooths!Would definitely recommend buying this as its so affordable and does so much! And even though it's not a huge amount of product (since it is a mini) you still get enough use out of it to see if it works for you!
I only bought the mini version to test, and I regret not getting the full-size one because I'd love to use it every day. I've been using it before bed, and my skin looks great in the morning. I'm always wary of using sleeping masks because I have acne-prone skin, but this one doesn't cause breakouts. In fact, it seems to have helped with that. The texture is thicker than a regular moisturizer, but not overly so. It absorbs into the skin very well. If there were a one-liter jar, and I could afford it, I'd bathe in this mask. P.S. my favorite is the green package one.
