I’ve tried all sorts of balms for my lips, I suffer with terrible dry cracked and sore lips. I’ve tried high end brands and drug store brands and nothing every works. It either works for a while then stops working or makes me lips worse. My Dads partner recommended something with Lanolin so I searched and bought 2 different Lanolips products the Lenonaid balm and the peach 101 balm. And wow! They’re amazing but specifically the Lemonaid balm is amazing. I use it every night before I go to bed and wake up and wipe it off with a warm flannel and the dry skin is completely gone. I then use the peach 101 balm through the day and my lips have never looked so good. I recently got a cold sore and used the lemonaid balm on it because I could get out to get cold sore cream and my cold sore was gone in 4 days. Usually my cold sores last for 2/3 weeks. I’m not sure if it’s even advertised for cold sores but it works wonders. I’ve repurchased this 3 time’s now and I’ve ordered more to have at my desk, in my bag and car because they’re so good. I’ve bought them as little gifts to go in gift baskets for people. I can’t recommend this enough, it’s amazing! I’ve never left a 5 star review and I’d give it more stars if I could. If you suffer from really dry scaly lips this will change your life. If you use it when you go to bed the next morning the dry skin will literally just glide of your lips and they’ll be so smooth.

Wanted to try a new lip balm that would be a step up from the one I currently use - I hate the feeling of physical lip scrubs so the idea that this formula is exfoliating whilst being a gentle balm really intrigued me. I’ve only been using this for about two weeks and it’s already helped heal my cracked dry lips, the scent is so so lovely nothing artificial just a really pleasant lemon sorbet type smell! Definitely worth it and will be exploring more of the Lanolips brand. The only slight downfall of this balm is the thickness is hard to squeeze out at times and the colour is a milky white so if you use too much you can sometimes end up with an almost pearly look to lips - I thought this balm might go on clear but not too much of an issue.

I bought this and the tinted one today as they didn't have my normal cheaper lip balm in shop. I have only been using it tonight and only re applied it 3 times upto every 10 to 15 mins other ones. My lips don't feel as much dry as I have no moisture in them after having 3 teeth out one been root too. I think I may use it at weekends and special days and use normal at work so I don't loose it as it costs more. The price is my only bad point about it.

I've been really curious about the Lanolips range as it's been a cult favourite, but I was doubtful after trying Burt's Bees which was a cult favourite as well but I didn't really like it. I've been especially meaning to try this Lemonaid version, but I was wondering, how could lemon oil be 'exfoliating'? (Anyone else? Just me? Ok..)My my how glad I am to have finally got it (while on promotion, and 'free' too as I used my Boots points)! I applied it to my dry lips today before the beach, and within minutes my lips felt smooth and soft! I was amazed. I have to say though that there was this initial... - I don't know how best to describe it - a sort of numbing coat-ish feeling on my tongue when it touched the balm. But it goes away soon enough. Now, just before ... MoreI've been really curious about the Lanolips range as it's been a cult favourite, but I was doubtful after trying Burt's Bees which was a cult favourite as well but I didn't really like it. Smells gorgeous and hydrating but doesn’t last long on lips. Requires reapplication often. A bit disappointing given the price tag. Will not repurchase. I would instead opt for other cheaper brands like Carmex or Vaseline.
Having used this, I don't think I'll ever use anything else. I was constantly getting a dry patch on my lip, and this is the only product that has ever cleared it up. Brilliant stuff.
If you're on a mission to find the perfect lip balm, stop searching, you've found it! As a lover of sweet treats and moisturized lips, I can certainly say this is my new holy grail. It tastes exactly like lemon drizzle icing, and feels lovely on the lips. The formula isn't too runny, which I like because it stops you from applying it too liberally. In terms of packaging, I see no issues. It has a suitable applicator which can be easily cleaned up and the lid screws on tightly. It is very long wearing and I only need to apply it about 2 times a day (which is the best I've ever used) . The finish is similar to a gloss, but not too shiny. I wouldn't say it is very exfoliating but I don't see an issue with indulging in a little lip scrub too! I've had extremely dry lips for a few months and nothing so far has worked. My lips would feel gritty when I rubbed my lips together with lip balm on, cos they were so dry. Lanolips has transformed my lips pretty much over night. Within 24 hours of using this, my lips are so smooth. I also love the lemon scent. Only thing I'm not so keen on is the slight sparkle.
Bought this to try as I have the tinted balm from lanolips and love it but am super disappointed with this one. It has a lovely fresh lemon scent however, on application it turns my lips completely white ! I have tried it a couple of times incase it was a one off but this always seems to happen. Product will be going in the bin - wish I wouldn't have wasted my money as the lanolips range isn't cheap !
Very rich and creamy texture, the smell is beautiful and fresh like lemon sorbet or lemonade (nothing artificial or overly sweet luckily!) I’ve been using this every night and it keeps my lips soft until morning. Experienced very dry cracked lips this winter and this has worked much better than my usual lip balms. Just going through it too quickly!
